I have worked here several times and always have loved it. You get great training. Great atmosphere. The CNA and other workers always go above and beyond to make the patients happy and at home feel. Great food and friendly staff.
If you have options to go or send your loved one somewhere else do it! This place is no where to go if you are needing to be cared for. The facility is dirty, you basically have to beg/nag the staff to get proper/decent care. If you don’t ask/request them you will be just forgotten about. Very sad and unfortunate for those that are there/have been there. Place needs to be shut down or new management. Rating is -10 stars.
I am a Alden meadow park employee, I have been working for Alden for 4 years. Qualities we have is team work, compassionate about the care we give, and clean environment, amazing therapy team that have achieved many patients goals to return home.
Being here for 3 years, I'm very pleased with my place of work, the staff, and residents. Looking foward to keep learning and working for alden meadow park.
The staff treats the patients like they're a burden because they're poorly funded and understaffed. Every week there's a COVID outbreak. My dad was there for rehab after heart surgery. He was left for long periods of time in his soiled bed. He was there for only a couple months. During that time he was given COVID from the staff. Our family wasn't notified. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for pneumonia and becoming unresponsive. Our family wasn't notified. The hospital said he was unresponsive because he was having strokes. He became debilitated and bedridden and stayed in the hospital until he passed away just last night. I regret sending him to this facility because now my daddy's gone
If I could give negative stars I would!!!! My mom was transferred there by ambulance from beloit memorial and the next morning I go visit her to find her in wet pullup she push call light no one comes in timely fashion she has a colostomy bag it was leaking when I arrived all over the bed and they wouldn't of known if I hadn't gone to get a nurse who were all sitting at the nurses station she would of been that way for some time My mom told me patients were screaming help all night for hours. Also didn't give her the proper medication when she was there I checked her temp when we got home her fever was 101 and now we're back to the er
The staff are amazing, I love coming to work here. It's more like a family.
I enjoy working with everyone at Alden. My managers are very friendly and helpful
OMG. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYONE, EVEN YOUR WORSE ENEMY HERE. UPDATE: 1/14/22 I have not had a shower since 12/20/21, and only one partial bed bath. The partial bed baths have been "my cares" done daily for the last 10 months. It was determined medically necessary to prevent severe yeast outbreaks from developing in many areas on my body. Two days ago, I was informed by a my Medicaid Managed Care Organization team, that the social worker told them that I am scheduled for showers 2x/week. If for ANY REASON a shower is not provided, including staff shortage or staff confusion about the correct days showers, a shower will not be offered until the next day scheduled. In addition, my daily cares are no longer available. If I receive them, it will be considered a shower, and the next shower scheduled WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Because my former room was on one hall that they wanted to devote to COVID positive residents, I was transferred to a hall with 35 residents, and one CNA. Call light response is even worse. I have a late night meal because I miss breakfast and/or lunch meals. Last night I made several requests for the food and drinks to be brought to me starting at 12:38am. Even with nurses telling the CNA to bring my food on two occasions, the CNA came to my room without the food, and turn off my call light. I DID NOT GET THE FOOD UNTIL 5:30am. THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TONIGHT. This CNA has been malicious on many occasions in many ways, and is hostile in demeanor and in the way she speaks to me. I have the window open to manage my overheated body temperature. On two occasions recently, she opened the window wider than I requested. I was cold for three to four hours until the next shift came on duty. 1. The pictures on this website were not taken at the facility. There is no golf course, therapy dogs. The environment is staged. The grounds kept, and public areas are painted to give the illusion of "five star accommodations." This self-serving claim could not be farther from the truth!!!! 2. I came here for a 28 day rehab stay in October of 2020. On this day, 11/26/21, I am still here due to NEGLECT: failure to provide necessary PT/OT services, doctor ordered cares, and basic cares. 3. I received 3 sessions of PT/OT, then refused services until April 2021. During that time, I was worse off than when I came. I was no longer even a candidate for Assisted living, much less than to return to independent living. 5. Received services June and July, then discharged "because I reached a plateau."S CNA werep to assist iwith increasing the htime in the wheelchairv every day, walking and transferring to be able to use toilet, with goal of removing Foley Super Pubic Catheter. B 6. DuetoO CVID-19, since October 2020, staff shortage began, and has remained the norm, of one CNA/ hall of 20 to 35 people. Management's strategies: * Hire agency staff. Good quality, but did not hire enough. * Hire young staff who were in a CNA course, but had NO practicum experience. * Hire young hospitality staff with NO "classroom" education or practicum experience. I have been traumatized by experiences with "CNAs in training," p More rhan once, left while in middle of cares, still exposed, uncovered and cold for up to 2 1/2 half hours. 7. Doctor ordered cares not done, still some after 14 months for the following conditions for which I am in daily pain and suffering: * chronic eye infection I'm * psoriasis * bladder and catheter cares 8. I am ignored by MManagement n9. TMany other health cissuesh tat I have been reporting that are not responded tto. 10. The Nurse Practitioner only comes to the facility 2x/week, for no more than ten minutes per visit. I have only been able to see no more than seven times in 14 months. 10. My call light, to get the attention of the CNA staff, is also the only means to get the attention of the nursing staff. Up to 10 hours not responded to. 11.VVerrballyand emotionally abused.rby sstaff. eWbeesitec reating typos.c
If I could give negative stars, I would. Sick sick facility. My MIL stayed there for a short 10 days and it was 10 days too long. The social worker did not help her with her needs, and never came back for specific information she needed for assistance. If your family member hits the nurse/call button during the night, NO ONE comes to help. If you have a choice, any possible choice, other than this place, go to it. They are extremely short staffed which puts all of the patients/tenants at risk. Very sad
