Good selection, be careful of the shelf life of the veggies. I was looking for schnitzel... they were sold out
You can find some really good deals here. Large selection of European meats and cheese. When we are looking for something different, we go to Aldi's.
Aldi's is Aldi's. Good prices, unique selection of items, lots of imported selections cookies from Germany etc and discounted meat, dairy and produce. Quality is hit or miss - sometimes a home run, sometimes disappointing, and the store is usually very crowded, but the addition of self checkouts is great and overall I really enjoy shopping here as one of my main grocery stores in the area.
Don't really care much for ALDIS because #1 you have to pay a quarter to use their buggys #2 They don't supply bags yeah ots great for the environment but still #3 they don't have enough Cashiers/self checkouts
This has to be the worst Aldi's I've ever been in. I'm confused on how one Aldi's in one of the wealthiest communities in Alabama can have the worse inventory. But an Aldi 5.5 seconds from the ghetto in Gadsden can be so much better??? How can you have 99 flavors of wine and no healthy drinks? How's that even possible? I'm confused. And disappointed. I shouldn't have cheated on food city.
Aldi saves me money. Their bread, meat, dairy and produce are reasonably priced and delicious.
My grandmother and I went here for the first time on Sunday. They have amazing products and decent prices. The problem was when we went to check out. The only places we go to for grocery shopping is Publix and Food land which bag the groceries for you. We had no idea that you have to use boxes or buy your own bags. It wouldn't have been a huge deal but we were confused and the cashier was no help. Her name was Brooke and she turned off her cash register and walked off when I WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH HER. I just thought that was very rude because we had an entire buggy full of groceries and we're just confused on how to carry them out. Don't get me wrong I should've looked on the website since it was a new store but it would've been very helpful if she would've explained to us what to do. Overall, the store has great products and prices, the cashier was just rude.
Always clean and great choices! Never once has a cashier even looked up from slamming my groceries in cart to speak or smile...they are very rude with zero customer service. I keep coming bc I just ignore them and go on!!
