This particular store is clean, love the low prices. Although last few visits I needed specific items and they were either out of stock, or short-staffed and unable to stock. The only thing about this New Britain location, just be aware of your surroundings past dark. Lighting not great in the parking lot. If venturing out there alone, park as close to entrance as possible.
I went here on Sunday May 21, 2023 at around 7:45pm. This cashier in the front is extremely rude and has an unnecessary attitude. Of course she didn’t have her name tag on. The rude employees always remove their name tag so they can’t be identified because they know what they’re doing. Also, why is there almost always only one cashier open??? This isn’t the case at other Aldi’s. Are there only 2 or 3 employees? It’d be nice if they could have 3 cash registers open at the same time, especially when long lines are forming.
This place is always trashed. Why are the other stores so nice and this one looks like its been turned upside down. Not clean.
Is not as good as it was. Needs to be more organized and maybe add some self check out registers and just one worker to keep an eye on them.

Good store, cheaper than average with a good quality products.
My favorite place to shop, it has pretty much all the staple items at very good prices. Although 90% of the food items are private label brands specific to Aldi, the food quality in my opinion matches or exceeds most name brands. From what I've heard, a good portion of the brands found there are actually name brand producers selling excess product under a new label for less. Either way, you'll find what you need here and probably for less than most grocery stores. Just don't forget your own bags and a quarter if you plan on using a cart
Store is newly renovated with upgraded aisles. Prices are reasonable and budget friendly place. Store is clean, organized and well- maintained.
I haven't been here in a few years because of issues, but they've really stepped up their cleanliness and selections over those years, so I would recommend anyone that stopped going for the same reasons, to try again.
Nicer and cleaner since the remodel, a real dump before. Great prices, but VERY limited inventory in both variety and stock levels due to the tiny size of the store. More of a convenience store than a grocery store. Always hit and miss there! Close to home and convenient, but don't shop there very often because of VERY limited selection of mostly no-name brands and fresh items usually expired or close to it. But they are good in a pinch and the cashiers are quick, if not usually very friendly.
