The value can't be beat. They have a fairly small gluten-free section but, a vast portion of their food items throughout the store are gluten-free as well. They also have great weekly deals on various hard goods and occasionally flowers or plants. In addition they have a phenomenal return policy if something isn't to your satisfaction. My only complaint is that I wish they stayed open later. :
I have been to this store dozens of times and the workers are very efficient. There are times that the lines become long and sometimes takes awhile for another person to appear to open a second lane. The only time anyone has been rude has been when it is a customer who is not quite Americanized and will run to the checkout with a full loaded buggy when you have only 2 items in hand. Reminds me how children have to be taught not to run to the lunch line. Produce is always freshest when the doors first open in the morning because produce isn't under refrigeration. No phone number listed in the phone book. Meat and other perishables sometimes out of date and usually close to expiration date. Non perishable items such as chips and spices are often better quality than name brands at a fraction of the price. Seasonal items are often the best values and many times sell out the first day and never restocked. The busiest day I was ever there was the first day of a hanging plant sale. Two lanes were open and the lines went clear back into the isles of the store. If you expect perfection, this is not the kind of store for you. If you like to spend a little time and don't mind hunting through a limited selection and off brands, you can be rewarded with some great deals!
We were at 2 yesterday. The one in Prior Lake was much cleaner, more inventory and better service. One in Savage was small, dirty, not much selection and service was poor. I know which one we'll being going back to again and which one we won't go to again. Wish they could more consistent.
Love this location. One of my favorites. They stay in stock often. Good produce. I typically ahop here for dairy, produce, canned products, frozen veggies and stay away from lunch meats, frozen meats and their freah meats as quality is low and I have regretted my purchases no matter which location. They do have a money back guarantee which is nice. Their burger meet has been odd. But we enjoy their produce. It is crazy busy here almost all day. Lines can get long. Parking is good.
Really good prices. Most of their private label products are as good or better than name brand products. They do have a limited type of product availability so shopping other places is usually expected. Clean, well stocked with friendly helpful employees.
Consistently good quality, clean and pleasant store, good selection. The few times I did return items, I got refund and replacement with no difficulty. If you want to pay more for nothing, take your limousine to another store.
It is refreshing to have a different type of grocery shopping. I like the German and Dutch area. The food is good and it's a great place to shop. I like it. Don't let the "off brands" scare you away.
Good prices and I've found most of the food to be comparable to other grocery stores. Make sure you bring a quarter if you want to use a cart and reuseable bags or you can buy them. The cashier's don't bag your stuff, they quickly pile it into a cart, which I don't really care for. It's a unique model but ok if you can get used to it.
Yes, LOVE their prices and selection is good, whatever I can't get there . . .go to Cub for! I DO wish they would sell a FULL box of the Sugar-Free coffee creamers as I always have to practically climb into the fridge to grab one! They're ALWAYS picked over bc I think a lot of ppl want/like them!??
I like that Aldi is a small store and it doesn't take very long to shop. They have pretty much everything you need and it's easy to find your items. Their prices are great which makes it very economical to shop there as well. The only negative is that they have some things that are "seasonal" so you can't buy those items year round, which can be very inconvenient. It is usually my first choice when I grocery shop.
