I lost my doctor a few years ago and decided to switch to Chi Health clinic to see Abbie Ketchum. This was the best decision I have ever made! Everyone at CHI is so kind and caring. They not only respect you as an individual but they also really want you to feel better and be well. It does get booked out rather quickly so definitely make an appointment in advance but if you can’t there is a walk in priority clinic with a different doctor. It’s clean and comforting and has all the up to date equipment. I will never go anywhere else!
I’ve been here several times, one being today. I’m always greeted by kind and helpful receptionists and caring nurses. I’ve had Dr.Winnie several times and she is very quick to confirm and detect my issues, as well as answer questions. I love coming here for Priority care and would recommend it to others. The only downside, I’ve experienced, is a long wait. However, that should be expected.
Doctor looked at my partner's eye, which has been hurting him, painful to light, and watering. Dr Nlam couldn't see anything in the eye...yet wouldn't test for pink eye. Even though that should've been the next step and I brought it up to him. All the Dr would do is give a general antibiotic eye drops for allergies. Again, would not test anything. Very unsatisfied.
First time going where it was a PA and not a real doctor. Seems like it was someone just starting their career. Didn’t take me seriously and completely misdiagnosed my situation, according to the second opinion I went to.
I went here because my right ear was clogged from wax figure be real easy and fast. The nurse was doing a lot of water pressure at once not stopping until I said it hurts. I got light headed informed her. She did my next ear that was the worst ear told her to stop once it hurt as well. I think she did too much too fast. I needed to lie down and i got really dizzy dr. Came in I don’t know if she was concerned or said anything. It got better maybe 2min. I complained about my left ear being filled with water and was told it will get better. I need to go to an ent since I got dizzy and they can get it out without water. No apologies what happened to me and I had my 3yr old with me and I am pregnant. Going to the ent all the pressure in the ear that wasn’t as bad it hurts so bad it is infected from the water pressure. Very bad experience and no apology or anything from dr or the nurse I felt like I didn’t matter it’s like hers ur papers ur can go type of feeling.
Just go to the midlands office if possible. Both times I have been to this place have been awful experiences. Front desk is great, wait times aren’t bad, one “triage nurse” is amazing, everyone else is TERRIBLE. Dr Q is very dismissive of any and all concerns, he rushes patients out without actually showing any kindness. He orders test but that’s it. Abby Ketchum, the nurse practitioner, is argumentative and arrogant. I’d be okay never having to deal with her again. The ladies who drew blood are massively overweight with meaty hands, so it took them way more times than necessary to get blood drawn. I wasn’t allowed to go pee to give a urine sample until the very end of my visit, which is an awful experience just by itself. I can see why everyone always recommends staying away from here.
After trying to get a sick visit with my general physician who was booked out almost a week, I decided to go to this location. Upon arriving, the lady at the desk that “helped” me was beyond rude. She asked me what was wrong and what my symptoms were and when I told her, she gave me a disgusted look. On top of it all, I could barely talk from being sick and she was practically making me yell the answers to her questions at her by repediately saying “what?” with an annoyed tone to her voice. I am in the medical profession as well and work hands on with patients. I was in shock by how rude she was to me. After telling her my answers, it then took her literally yes, literally 10 minutes to find a paper she printed, while other patients were coming in to be seen. So all while she’s looking for my paper, I’m being pushed further and further down the line to be seen, even though I was there first. I was not impressed with my experience at this location and honestly, it changed my whole perception of CHI clinics. Medical attention is competitive. I could’ve driven somewhere closer and been treated better. CHI truly can’t afford to treat patients this way, there’s too many other options when considering an urgent care or even a provider. Very disappointed.
Went to this Urgent Care even though it's not covered by our insurance because it's close and it was, well, urgent. The front desk staff was not friendly and were also not concerned that the patient I took was having trouble breathing. Snails pace to get us back and didn't ask how much distress he was in. Then, the doctor came in and I explained what we thought it was and how they usually treat it. He dismissed me, asked 5 questions, ran tests he didn't need and prescribed antibiotics he didn't need. Went to his normal doctor today who confirmed it was what I originally told the doctor it was and prescribed what I told the doctor they usually prescribe. Now we're going to have to pay out of network rates for a completely useless visit. I will definitely find a different urgent care to use for next time.
I went to the Urgent Care clinic at 7:30pm. I was immediately greeted at the desk by a friendly staff member. I was seen by a nurse within 5 minutes and then by the PA soon after. Everyone was cordial, professional and quickly got me on my way!
Unfriendly Service at front desk. To make a long short. Was treated by a Nurse Practitioner a Priority Care for Respiratory infection. Wasn't that It was pneumonia!!! When I had to go to the ER two days later. Prescribed Cough syrup wih codeine .And don't take antibiotics till two days later. ??Terrible!!!
