Dr. Sekpe was fantastic throughout my pregnancy, but especially during my delivery. The resident doctor did a fantastic job as well. And let’s not forget the incredible nurses that helped me during my delivery. Even the nursing student was extremely helpful and engaged throughout the whole process. I had a smooth, successful and calm birthing experience.

How many women are being mistreated in their labor at Bergan Mercy? The Anesthesiologist came in while I was having contractions, she didn’t ask us if we wanted a student to give the epidural. She let the student poked me first and it was painful and they stopped. The student did the second time and I screamed and I started crying . Instead of being compassionate, the anesthesiologist yelled at me .” I was humiliated , I felt helpless “. At that point I was confused, I was trying to manage 2 pain at the same time without moving. I had a spinal headache later and I want to be heard so it doesn’t happened to anyone like that anymore

There were plenty of helpful nurses that eased my concerns during labor and helped me deliver a healthy, beautiful baby!

The worst place any mother could have a baby.
