We were driving through and thankfully found Alex’s. I had the turkey club and my son had the caprese chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Our server, Karen, was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.

It was on my conscience to leave a review for this place so I stopped in the middle of eating so I don’t forget, people need to know how AWSOME!! This place is. Customer service-10, food broke the scale, ambiance-10. If you want the perfect place for breakfast this is the place for you, I’m really picky about my salads but I never had a salad this fresh, I’m truly impressed and considering it was super busy inside we did not have to wait to long. 10-10.

Outstanding corned beef hash paired with excellent service from Karen. The portion was generous too. Nice breakfast experience all around..

Love this place. Great for a breakfast/brunch/lunch. Always busy, that says a lot about how good it is. Got a Cesar burrito. Delicious.

I really love the ambiance of this place. It feels old school and has thr nicest waitresses. I love it. The food is good! Pancakes are a must! Vegetarian options: Many different options for all dietary restrictions Kid-friendliness: Yes, bring the whole fam!

Stumbled upon this gem while passing through Poughkeepsie on a cycling trip and I got bogged down with weather and I need to satiate the grumbling in my tummy. This place has an old school cool vibe with great food and great servers. Slow jazz over the speakers on a rainy day, how can you go wrong. If I was the blogging type I'd go into more detail but I'll just say if you're looking for a place to unwind while eating a great meal, this is the spot.

What a lovely lovely place!! We really enjoyed our brunch at Alex’s. Had a very friendly waitress, who accommodated my kids well and took good care of the whole family in general. The food took quite long to arrive but was super delicious and it was just fun to sit and wait. The place was buzzing on a late Monday morning, and the prices were cheaper than I had expected. Will definitely revisit whenever in the area again.

We were pleasantly surprised with our visit. Headed to Alex's on a Sunday morning because my wife was looking for gluten free pancakes. They were excellent! She was very happy with the options there. As for me, I went for the Pastrami Hash and a couple of eggs. Presented well in a small skillet and tasted terrific. Service was perfect, the waitress was very thorough and helpful, they stayed on top of the coffee. We'll certainly be going back.
