Alexander Funeral Home was our 1st choice to handle our mother's service based on a couple reasons. First, we have a history with the Alexanders and consider them family; secondly, previous service arrangements with other family members and friends has shown that they do quality work and are very professional. We have the utmost respect for Mr. Alfred Alexander. He looked out for us as he always has over the years. Ms. Le'Shekia Coleman took good care of my sisters and I, as she guided us through the funeral planning and finalizing arrangements for our mother, Ruth L Muldrow. Ms Coleman was very knowledgeable. Her vibe was uplifting as she bought smiles, laughter and just pure caring during a time that was difficult. We were always treated with dignity and respect. Mr. Corey dressed and made up our mother enhancing her beauty. Thank you for polishing her nails. We know there were others, the notary Ms. Veda Perry, and the limo drivers that were part of making the planning and arranging process go as smoothly as it did. I had the pleasure of working with Alexander Funeral Home for my Father's funeral arrangements and cannot brag enough on how easy they made this process. Starting with getting the Pre-need burial plan in place prior to his passing to actually planning his service, the final viewing, the day of service, and the follow up afterwards has been phenomenal! I cannot thank them enough for being there for me and my family during our time of need and for their extreme professionalism. They even gave me a few memorial gifts a plaque and framed picture of my father that I now have beautifully displayed in my home. I will cherish these for years to come. I was really impressed with the level of professionalism, attentiveness, promptness and friendliness from ALL the staff. There was only one issue that disappointed me very much, but overall I was very pleased with the services that I received from them..Although my mom passed a few months ago, they are still following up with me. Thank you Alexander staff!
Thank you for assisting with me with my dad funeral arrangements. The whole staff was great! From the receptionist, the director, to the gentleman that greeted me at the graveside, to the bishop. Ms Coleman and entire staff were very caring and professional. They even continue to reach out and check on me and my family weeks after my brother's service.
This is the worst funeral home I've ever dealt with..they are rude disrespectful and I honestly don't know how they even got any good reviews. Ms Stitt was one of the worst!! Losing my mom was the hardest thing I ever had to face and from day one dealing with this funeral home was a nightmare. I would never recommend them to ANYONE!!!

My mom and I wanted to prepare for her funeral arrangements, so we met with the folks at Alexander Funeral home. Everyone was so helpful and kind, we made all the arrangements and on the day my mom passed away the funeral home sent someone to get her body. He was very pleasant and gave us time to say our last goodbye. The professionalism of all the staff was beyond attentive. I was very pleased with everything.
