The Alexander Robertson School is a co-ed, Junior-K to 5th Grade community of thoughtful learners on W 95th Street just steps from New York's Central Park.
Since its founding as one of the first co-ed elementary schools in New York City in 1789, the Alexander Robertson School has been a pioneer for educational equality. We welcome families of all configurations, ethnic identities and religious traditions to our diverse and supportive community of kindergarten through fifth grade learners.
Located just steps away from Central Park on West 95th Street and within a short walk of some of the world’s most important cultural institutions, the Alexander Robertson School strives to enrich the educational experiences of all of our students, to instill in them a life-long love of learning, and to help them develop an ethical compass and sense of compassion that will be their steadfast guide throughout their educations and their lives.
We hope that these pages reflect the depth of our programs and our caring, nurturing environment.
