Since 1935, the Alexander Family have been promoting Armenian Craftmanship in oriental rugs for generations with old traditions that were originally instilled by Ralph Alexander’s stepfather, Kegham Alexanssian, who started Alexander Rugs back in 1935 in the City of Anaheim in Orange County, California. When Alexander Rugs first opened it was surrounded by vast acres of orange groves and is now a center point for Caucasian oriental rug design. As Orange County grew, so did Alexander Rugs and we now operate the largest oriental rug cleaning plant in Orange County, consisting of an 8,000 sq. ft. showroom and an oriental rug craftsmanship facility located at 1130 Gene Autry Way in Anaheim, CA 92805...Just two blocks away from Angel Stadium.
Now the Alexander Family has expanded to open an Alexander Rug Gallery and satellite facility in Laguna Beach, California at 412 North Coast Highway on the second floor, directly above Zeytoon Cafe. This new location, conveniently provides Armenian Craftsmanship in oriental rug cleaning, sales and repairs for the South Orange County area residents.
