Dr. Doan and his staff here is always super helpful and knowledgeable about any questions I have. I always feel heard and not talked down to, which is something I look for as finding a good doctor. The staff is always super punctual and will work with me and my schedule. I couldn't have found a better vet!
I have been taking my animals to vets in all parts of the country for years. Dr. Doan at Alexandria pike animal hospital has been the best! His incredible knowledge base, communication skills, empathy are above all other vets I have met in my 16 years of owning animals. I trust and recommend Dr Doan for all animal lovers in this region. So much so that I drive over thirty minutes to be seen there. The care Dr Doan shows towards all animals alike is amazing to see.
Two of my animals are seen here, having a busy work schedule can sometimes be hard to get appointments but never here. They always work with my schedule and there’s never a wait. Prices are better than anywhere I’ve taken my pets in the past. Staff is friendly and compassionate. Always clean. Glad I found this office for my fur babies.
Dr. Doan is knowledgeable, compassionate, and gentle. The clinic is always spotless, odorless, and quiet. The atmosphere is calming for nervous fur-babies and I've never been kept waiting for my appointment. Highly recommended.
Wonderful, friendly, caring, knowledgeable staff here. Clean & well-maintained. They were able to fit my kitty in the day I called. She was in and out in under an hour, with the correct diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Doan and the assistant were very good and kind to her. Prices are very fair as well. Will be taking my kitties here from now on.
Neutered my rabbit, Simon here. He bounced back from his surgery very quickly. They got me in for an appointment the same week and prices were reasonable. Convenient location, caring Dr., would recommend.
Took my dog here for a dental cleaning. The office is extremely clean and well kept. I didn't have to wait months for an appointment and the prices are very fair. This was our first time going to this office, but I am so happy we went there and Dr. Doan will be our vet from now on!
The staff there handled my two elderly cats the last years of their life. They were caring to both my kitties as well as to me, and helped me to deal with their loss. End of life decisions are never easy, and Dr. Eric is honest and empathetic, providing the peace of mind that any caring pet owner needs. Thank you.
I called for a quote to get my puppy neutered & was told over the phone that it would be $115. When I picked up my dog after surgery, much to my surprise, my bill was nearly $300. I was charged $135 for the neuter plus an exam fee of $43 that wasn’t mentioned over the phone. I was also charged for individual medication used for the procedure. When I went back in for an explanation, I was told that I was never quoted $115 & was reluctantly refunded $26 & some change for the medication administered as part of the procedure. I also requested a 3 yr rabies vaccine & was only given a 1 yr vaccine, as the hospital wants you to join their “lifelong vaccine” program for $89 but requires an annual exam, regardless of if your pet needs to be vaccinated or seen which costs $43. When I requested the 3 yr rabies vaccine, I was not told that the first rabies vaccine needs to be a 1 yr vaccine until until AFTER I came to pick my dog up & asked why he didn’t receive the 3yr vaccine. I will not be returning to this place, as they are liars & are more interested in milking your pockets than tending to your pet. Nor would I recommend them to ANYONE.
