Alfoccino's has been around quite awhile which in an age where restaurants come and go is a statement to it's food and service, both of which are good. However it also shows its age. This is not a trendy hot spot by any means, the clientele is alitte older, probably a great place to take your parents. This is not to say if your younger you wouldn't enjoy it, the food is well prepared and the portions are nice however we did order the filet bites and a good size portion is was not, full bar and fair prices. All in all the few times I've been here I've enjoyed my meal and really no complaints, but nothing overwhelmingly standing out either.
We recently had my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Alfoccino and I must say it was perfect! From the moment I contacted them about booking a party and spoke to Sonny I knew we had picked the perfect spot. He made planning the party easy and stress free. Sandy and everyone else on the service staff were amazing and made sure we were well taken care of, not to mention the food was delicious. I highly recommend Alfoccino Italian Restaurant to anyone looking to book a party or just a great dinner out!
Great service. Sandy was the best waitress I ever remember. I had Chicken Marsala and my husband had the chicken with eggplant. We had calamari as an appetizer that was delicious. The bread was warm and homemade. My husband loved the minestrone soup. You have to try their homemade dressing for the salad. They even sell it there.Nice selection of wine. I really loved the old world ambience. I just want to thank the staff for a wonderful evening. We are from the Cleveland Ohio area and this was a pleasant surprise.
First time here and we loved it the minute we walked thru the door. Very nice atmosphere. Service was great , everyone worked together from seating us to getting our drinks and ordering , the table was cleared quickly and they checked on us enough that we didn’t wait for anything we wanted. Will definitely be going backFood: 5/5
I didn’t really like anything except for the salad. The pasta had to be doctored up at home with some spices and cheese. Very bland. Texture of the chicken was funny. I found one mushroom in all the pasta. Calamari was clumped up I threw those pieces away before I took the pic and soggy. The raviolis were dry and nasty even my 3 year old wouldn’t touch them. And the breadsticks just aren’t good either. They are like flavorless air. Very disappointed with my expensive takeout order that’s all going in the garbage.
Sam waited on us tonight, and was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. She knows how to converse with people, and is so very good at her job. If we didn’t live two hours away, we’d go regularly. The food and drinks were very good also. Good luck on your next adventure, Sam!
Absolutely delicious! I can’t believe I’ve lived 8 miles away from this place for 8 years and missed out on their amazing lasagna!
Very nice food and ambience. Staff were were courteous and helped to recommend the food. Highly recommend to try if you are in Auburn hills area.Recommended dishesPizza
Got the Italian Flag Portobello stuffed ravioli with creamy pesto sauce, cheese-filled ravioli with Alfredo sauce, homemade Lasagna with meat sauce, which came with bread & a salad. It was delicious. The lasagna had a ton of flavor, and the ravioli was creamy and cheesy. My table also got the Chicken Marsala, which came with a side of spaghetti. The Chicken Marsala was decent. It had a strong maple syrup flavor which was a bit overwhelming, but wasn’t bad. The spaghetti was good, could have used a little more sauce though. The side salads were good, par for the course as far as side salads at Italian restaurants go. The first basket of bread that was brought out was good, however the second basket was a different type of bread which was the lowest point of the meal, not sure what happened. Got Tiramisu for desert which was very good. It wasn’t overly rich which was great. One of the high points of the visit was our server. I can’t remember his name, but he was awesome. Wasn’t bothersome at all, and made sure we were taken care of. Also recommended the Asti Prosecco which was very good. Overall, very good and will be coming back. It was a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the service was very good.
Wow. Not bad. I was expecting bad but this place delivered! Really impressed. Very Clean. Good staff. Wow. Nice. Simple menu but good. Some good food here. Wow. Italian authentic music! They really take care of this restaurant. I see a lot of love here! Bathroom was very well maintained. Cups, spoons, dishes were all clean. Nice job. The bread and salad were on par with Olive Garden. You must try! We just came back from my daughter’s graduation from college at OU and decided to come here. Great place! Highly recommended!
