Description

The Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library was originally founded 50 years ago in 1962 through the efforts of the West Paterson Women's Club. In January, 1992 the library was renamed the Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library in honor of the mayor and school principal of West Paterson, Alfred Baumann. Today, more than 50% of the residents in Woodland Park are library card holders! The library is a vibrant and exciting place in our growing community. Keep an eye on this page to see upcoming events and programs held at the library!

The mission of the Alfred H. Baumann Public Library is to provide a wide range of materials, services and programs for people of all ages to meet the ever changing educational, recreational, and informational needs of the residents of Woodland Park, NJ.
