Dr. Weinstock is a periodontist who has completed three extra years of specialized training in periodontal and implant surgery.
Dr. Weinstock received his college education, dental training and DDS degree at the University of Toronto. He did his residency in Periodontics at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, and was also a Trainee in Oral Pathology at the Armed Forces institute of Pathology in Washington, DC. As an Assistant Professor at McGill University School of Medicine Department of Anatomy, he also received his PhD degree.
He is a former Professor and Chairman of Periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry and Professor of Anatomy in the School of Medicine, former Chairman and Clinical Chief of Oral Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Division of Dentistry, Department of Surgery, and former President of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor of Periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a Regional Leader of the California Society of Periodontists.
Memberships include the American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontists, Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry, West Coast ITI Dental Implant Study Club, Western Prosthetic Study Club, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
