Students in Algonquin College’s Broadcasting – Radio program follow a hands-on approach to learning. In the first two weeks of the program the students are on the air at AIR AM 1700 and CKDJ 107.9 FM, the college radio stations. The program includes all aspects of the radio business. From writing commercials and selling radio airtime to promotions and marketing. Students also participate in current affairs/news programming, perform on-air and learn audio production.
