Ali Amirian hails from Long Island, NY, where her love for the arts was born. She is inspired by dance, theatre, decade trends and nature & incorporates it into all of her styles. Although she loves all aspects of hair, she specializes in dimensional color, hair makeovers and Dreamcatcher extensions.
After her time studying video production & theatre at MTSU, Ali attended Paul Mitchell and was taught by artists such as Vivienne Mackinder, Dave Holland & Kelly Cardenas. She looks forward to continuing her education to give her guests the most up to date hair styles and trends. Ali is obsessed with the designs of Nylon & Vogue which are her biggest influences in her personal style. She has been an artist at Salon Ya Ya since July 2012 and looks forwards to many more years in her salon home.
When Ali is not practicing her art, you can find her out on the town with her friends or at home watching countless hours of Saturday Night Live and Doctor Who with her dog Bear. She loves to cook, read sci-fi novels, find new music & dance around her living room. Ali wants to travel the world with her boyfriend and bring back new styles and trends to share with Nashville!
