Do you take insurance?
I am part of the Kaiser Permanente Outside Referral Network and can take clients that receive authorization from Kaiser to see me. Typically, Kaiser will provide an approved number of sessions and a co-pay that must be paid at each session. I then bill Kaiser directly for the remainder of the cost.
I am currently in network with Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem and Aetna insurance plans at this time. If you have insurance and your plan provides coverage for out of network providers, I can provide statements which you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement of fees already paid.
Check with your provider and ask the following about your coverage for outpatient mental health benefits to see if you may be eligible for reimbursement:
Does the plan provide mental health benefits?
Does the plan provide reimbursement for out of network providers?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
What diagnoses are included or excluded by the plan?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
