this is my go to hair stylist, I love Courtney she is so nice and does an amazing job on my very stubborn hair. I have never had any issues here and always get an amazing hair color and cut ended with a cute style. it is pricey but definitely worth the price. everything is very clean and follows local covid guidelines.

I've had two haircuts by Preston and they were both great. She helps me celebrate my curls rather than wanting to straighten them out. The staff has good policies in place to make a safe as possible experience during the pandemic of 2020.

I've never had a go to stylist before. And I'm 28. But since I met Preston here she has been doing my hair for over a year now and she is magic. This salon is great. Very bright and friendly stylists, and a comfortable modern feel inside. Definitely recommend Preston!!

My wife gets all of her color/cuts done here by Preston and she always looks and feels great after getting it done. Preston has an amazing eye for color and style. From basic to trendy to edgy no matter what your look, they've got you covered!

When my hair is not straightened my natural hair is very curly and poofy. Preston did an outstanding job, she was my stylist but it also felt as if she was my best friend doing my hair. Preston didn't only exceed my expectations she really made my hair look amazing. Made my hair very straight, soft, & shiny. Preston was very loving and very kind, we had so much in common & connected well. She knows what she's doing & she loves doing what she does. Had a great haircut & definitely will be coming back in the future

I was definitely excited to try this place based on the reviews. I made my appointment, arrived for my trim on time, and as I was entering the salon I was told that my 10 month old baby who was falling asleep in her car seat was not allowed inside because of hairs and chemicals. I've never had that be a problem before at other salons. They asked if I would like to reschedule and have someone watch her while I get my haircut, but I declined. I will take my business elsewhere. I'm not getting a babysitter to get my hair TRIMMED. I believe I'm supposed to feel pampered at a salon and not discriminated against. Not to mention I am pregnant and was almost in tears over this embarrassing event. Other customers were right there as I was denied service. It is interesting that a salon that advertises itself as friendly, is not welcoming to mothers. No thank you.

Maxwell Salon KNOWS the definition of quality hair treatment. My hair was once damaged from me doing a lot of at-home coloring and bleaching, which ended up ruining my hair to the point that I thought I needed to shave it off. I’ve had salons chastise me for dyeing my hair at home before, so at first, I was hesitant to go. But I was warmly greeted by the owner, Alicia, and she didn’t put me down, offered me the best solution for my hair based on MY personal hair care needs which showed her proficiency in the salon industry! and took care of me. I won’t go to anyone else, ever. Maxwell Salon has saved my hair and restored my confidence in a way I never thought I could feel. I used to be the girl that covered up my hair often with hats, scarves, updo’s, or excessive hairspray to create the illusion of healthy hair. Thanks to Maxwell Salon, and all the workers who are there, my hair is naturally healthy again!

I got a few recommendations for Maxwell Salon in a Kitsap Buy and Sell group on Facebook so I made an appointment for a cut ASAP . I asked the nice receptionist if they had someone who did really good short edgy hair and she said Preston , I took in a pic and Preston rocked it and did my hair up ! I Highly recommend the Salon , esp Preston , she was sweet , talkative and did an amazing job ! I love my hair style and will go back for my touch ups and more next time ! Thank you Preston !

From all the great things I hear about this place, I had to come! I don't get my hair cut often so I told Mckenzie to do whatever she wanted with it without making it super short.  I loved what she did with my hair! She is super personable and did an amazing job. If you're looking for someone to go to, go to her!  Also, it's really awesome that you can go on their website and they show you all the available haircut times and who is open to cut. I got lucky on my appointment, but if you're looking to get a haircut, I would book an appointment a couple days in advance.

This salon is amazing! So many talented stylists! Our favorite is Alicia and Sarah. They are both so nice and professional and treat their customers very well. My husband and I will continue to go there until we move away which will be a very sad day because they are the best!!! A++++++! -Arica Eaton
