Description

Come and visit a real working butterfly farm! Your visit begins with a fun, fast-paced skit using kids from the audience. You will learn about the lifecycle of a Monarch butterfly, then see eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis and adult Monarchs in the flight house! All visitors are encouraged to hand-feed the butterflies for an up-close look. During the week groups of 20 or more are welcome by appointment only. Don't have 20, or just a small family?? Join us for a family show, shows are Saturday's at 10 a.m. Mid April thru October. Picnic tables available. Admission $7 per person, children under 2 free, all forms of payment accepted. 336-454-5651.

We took our preschoolers here and what a blast! Even on a gloomy day, we had so much fun! We felt so welcome and learned so many new things about butterflies! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

This was a wonderful family trip! The owner is so sweet and she was so great with the kids & adults! Very educational and COMPLETELY MEMORABLE experience! Also wonderful admission prices and fairly priced fun items for kids to dress up!  We will definitely be back!

We had so much fun! A wonderful place for children & adults to learn about butterflies. The butterfly castles to purchase are a recommendation for any family to watch the complete life cycle from egg to releasing.

We went with a Homeschool group. There was a great, funny presentation whereby the children got to participate. The hostess/guide was friendly, warm and encouraging. Butterflies of course were beautiful, and we knew how to interact with them, thanks to the introduction from the guide. There are lots of activities for elementary aged children. A great place to visit and prices are reasonable.

This place is so nice to take the children.  I personally learned alot anout butterflies.   The staff is super friendly

This place was AMAZING!! Such a great experience! The presentation was so engaging for the kids and they used fun props to illustrate the parts of the butterfly. While waiting to go into the butterfly enclosure you can go on the nature trail, play on the slides, walk in the pergola mist, eat a snack under the picnic shelter, or feed the goats. The grounds were so well kept and clean and every staff member we encountered was so kind and knowledgeable on all things butterfly. The gift shop and tickets are so incredibly reasonably priced too which makes it an extra perfect family outing!!

This place was amazing. Plenty of space and things for kids to do to wait til it's your groups your to go into the butterfly habitat. The staff is awesome there. They also have a few goats that are super friendly and adorable. 100% We are going back again.

Great hidden gem. Fun for all ages.

Had lots of fun at the butterfly farm  with my daughter on her field trip.

Great day with our preschool kids and families. Everyone there was nice and answered all our questions. The kids had so much fun on the playground.  And holding the butterflies
