I have been a patient since 2004. I last saw them in 2019. At that time the receptionist told me she could not schedule me for my next yearly visit because their books did not go out that far. Covid came along. I forgot. Finally I called, multiple times, before speaking with someone. I can no longer be seen because it has been more than 3 years and I would be considered a new patient. They are not taking new patients. I am completely beside myself. I never leave reviews but I feel new patients should know that they are not loyal to their loyal clients. I will no longer tell friends or families about this office. I love love love Pattie Carinni. She was always an excellent caregiver. I am saddened that I now have to find a new practitioner.
I’m pregnant with my first child. They have been extremely difficult to get into contact with. When I had finally made appointments the doctor canceled the day before at 4 pm before they close. They were going to give me my very first ultrasound in June, when I’m 6 months. I don’t even know how a doctor can do that. I would suggest never going here for ob care. It’s very unsafe for your baby to choose these unprofessional doctors to care for you and your child. Since then I have changed doctors. They are also extremely unprofessional on the phone to the point where I had to remind them this phone call is being recorded…then they changed their tone. Run down doctors office.
This place is the worst. They are so difficult to get a hold of. I always would schedule my next year’s appointment when I was there for my annual. The last time I was there was before Covid and when it came time for my annual they cancelled it due to Covid. To be honest o forgot all about it and just realized that it had been a while. When I called to schedule just a routine appointment they call back and tell me now I’m considered a new patient since it’s been over 3 years since my last appointment and they aren't taking new patients. So now I can’t even get in with my doctor who I had been seeing for 10+ years and no one else is taking new patients. So much for caring about your patient’s health.
First of all, Dr. McCracken is AMAZING!! Make no mistake, she is a five-star doctor, for sure! The problem is, I can't get an appointment with her. There were three occasions where I showed up for confirmed appointments with Dr. McCracken, only to find out I'd been bumped to Ashley August's schedule. It's just not right to do that to someone, especially since one of the visits was a postpartum visit. I had so many questions to ask, and they just went unanswered because Ashley August had no idea who I was. Most recently, I called for a problem appointment, and they told me Dr. McCracken is scheduling out ONE YEAR for appointments. This person said it like it was no big deal, like it's perfectly normal to schedule a problem appointment for a year from now. What in the world? So after seeing an NP for several visits, I switched practices. It's sad. I really hope the founding doctors are seeing these reviews I know it's doubtful and trying to make things right.
SOOOO disappointed. Been coming here for years and was always difficult to speak to someone directly or get an appointment even and it’s only gotten worse. Rarely around for phone calls and when you do they are unhelpful. Having serious reactions from treatment and was told they could not speak to me over the phone to help me with questions. Frustrating and difficult and will not be returning.
Extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone in the office. My midwife recommended we change my appointment due to some news we recieved, she said she will let the front desk know and they should be reaching out. 2 weeks go by, haven't heard anything, so I call on Tuesday and leave a voicemail. On Friday, I still haven't received a call back, and the appointment I was trying to cancel is on upcoming Monday. I call them again and leave a voicemail. They finally call back, but didn't let it ring for more than 1 ring so I missed answering the call. I then proceed to call them back and leave a voicemail. Fortunately she calls back when I was on my phone writing this review so I was able to answer quickly. She tells me I can't cancel the appointment since it's protocol for a doctor to see me every 4 weeks. I had to explain to her what the midwife told me and now it's been corrected. But OMG it shouldn't be this hard!
Went to this practice for 20 years and they delivered my 3 children. Called to make a routine gyn appointment and was told because it had been over 3 years since I was there due to covid mind you I would be considered a new patient and they are not taking any new patients. I basically got kicked out of the practice because I'm not an OB patient....despicable.
Just tried to schedule an appointment with Lifeline, All About Women, and they refused to since I was a patient in New Jersey and not Delaware. I had spoken with an office manager who told me since I was there in August, New Jersey and it is the same business, I am not a new patient. This receptionist would not budge nor make an appointment for me. i HOPE THIS BUSINESS LOSES A LOT OF THEIR CLIENTS DUE TO THEIR RIDGID POLICIES AND IS BEGGING FOR NEW CLIENTS SOON! THEY ONLY HAVE 2.5 STARS. A POOR RATING!!!
In person, everybody is great. try to get somebody to return a phone call and you get nothing. been calling for weeks for medication refill still no call.
The worst and most unprofessional service I have experienced in a long time. I used to love this practice and came here for years. I have never once been late for my appointment and today I was driving from the beach about a 2 hour drive and missed a turn that pushed me back about 8 minutes. I called the office to explain and they said as long as I was before the 10 minute mark I would be okay. I made it at 11:08 and then had to check in at the kiosk which took 3 minutes to upload my insurance. As soon as that was done they informed me they could not see me and I needed to reschedule l. I took time off work and drove 2 hours for nothing. My dad is a doctor himself and was shocked to hear how I was treated here. I understand no one likes late patients but I made the mark and still was not seen. Ridiculous. The same thing happened to 2 women in front of me as well. One was very pregnant. Really sad what this place has become.
