We would like to thank Dr. Sam and every staffs at All Pets for taking good care of our frenchie and her babies. Every time we went to All Pets Vet Hospital , all the staffs remember our frienchie’s name and were well aware of her situation. This is our first time having a litter and we are extremely nervous. Dr. Sam is very professional and explain everything clearly to us to release our stress. Thanks to Dr. Sam, we have 4 healthy puppies!
My 7mo old puppy was having horrible bloody diarrhea and vomiting on a Friday/Saturday. My regular vet was closed so I called this animal hospital and was able to be seen in 30 minutes. Every single person I met here was kind, compassionate, and helpful. From the receptionist who welcomed us in to the techs and the Dr. I asked a lot of questions because this is my first puppy and everyone- again- was incredibly patient and gave so much detail I felt well educated afterwards. Thank you all so much for the care you gave to us. Ria is feeling much better and her current vet is in the hot seat- because I may be leaving her and becoming a regular at this animal hospital.
BE WARNED! READ THESE REVIEWS! This review of the brief visit and interaction at All Pets Vet Hospital echoes the sentiment of several other highly dissatisfied and perturbed reviewers. After struggling to find a reasonable and timely date to schedule spay/neuter surgeries for our recently rescued cats within our regular veterinary office, we found and scheduled appointments with All Pets Vet Hospital. We too were attempting to utilize a Friends with Animals certificate for these surgeries. To be clear, the negativity and criticism within this review has no direction nor involvement regarding the front desk staff, techs, or for this matter any employee other than Dr. Sam. After providing documentation of the cats' previous medical procedures, testing, and history, I was given a form to fill out regarding optional techniques, medications, and measures that could be opted for during the surgeries. The options came with short, detailed descriptions as well as listed additional pricing, ranging from smaller amounts around $15, to larger denominations of $100+, and I chose to decline these seemingly unnecessary options. Dr. Sam entered and sat down across from me, beginning first by telling me that our Friends with Animals certificates were outdated, and due to inflation, the prices of these procedures and thus certificates had tripled since we purchased them. Despite being told I could "Google it to verify I could trust him" regarding these price increases, Dr. Sam stated upfront he would still honor the certificates, a gesture that was highly appreciated. I was then told our vaccinations and booster shots, according to the paperwork, were not up to date as well, and that more treatments would be required in addition to the surgeries. Discussion then quickly turned towards the list of additional procedures, medications, and so on, wherein Dr. Sam began writing his own list that he deemed necessary during surgery, and the prices for each. With a career residing in sales and marketing, I immediately began to notice Dr. Sam utilizing several commonplace and highly familiar sales tactics throughout our conversation, focusing more on pricing and discounts rather than the safety and health of my pets. As red flags arose and my discomfort heightened by the perceived pressure of the situation, I immediately called my wife to discuss and resolve the issue directly. Dr. Sam proceeded to continuously cut us off in conversation, explaining how he was "doing us a favor" or "giving us a deal". When we explained feeling blindsided by all these additional charges and thus total cost, I then watched as he rewrote these recommended procedures and medications, now giving us discounted pricing that seemed to come from nowhere but his own choosing. When has the pricing of medical procedures of any kind been subject to such immediate variation, at the discretion of merely one person? Now feeling highly uncomfortable and questioning the intentions of Dr. Sam regarding the entire situation, we elected to take our business elsewhere. Dr. Sam essentially pleaded with me at this point, asking what could he possibly do or how could we make it happen. I was hearing nothing but the echoes of the used car salesman exclaiming, "what do I have to do to get you in this car today??". As I stood to leave, he asked if I wanted him to charge me nothing. I originally assumed he was referring to a charge for this visit/consultation itself, which I immediately agreed I would not be receiving any charges for. He then offered to perform all of these procedures, including the medications and other extras that we were just haggling over the pricing of, all for free... What? How or why would I ever trust a veterinary practice that operates in such a way, guilting and coercing their customers? After reading several other highly dissatisfied reviews, including those which have claims of pets being mishandled, unsafely medicated, or even directly hurt, we are beyond grateful to never have Dr. Sam's involvement in the care of our pets.
We are thrilled and overjoyed with the quality of care we’ve received at All Pets Vet Hospital! We’d been looking for a reproductive specialist near us and everywhere we called, we hit a brick wall. That is until we called All Pets Vet Hospital. Dr. Sam is wonderful to work with and we had a successful artificial insemination of our French Bulldog- Lady Penelope. We can breathe easy knowing that our girl and her soon to be pups are in good hands with Dr. Sam and his very attentive staff of vet assistants and administrative team. Edit Addendum: The pups arrived! 7 beautiful Frenchies and we are absolutely in love with them! Again, we’re so grateful for Dr. Sam and his absolutely incredible team who many came in on their off day when they discovered how many and helped deliver our girl’s pups! Even Dr. Sam came in on his birthday which is a testament of his passion for reproductive canine care. Also, the team of techs were so helpful in answering our questions and making us feel comfortable with the c-section procedure, as this was her first time. But our girl recovered quickly and has been all smiles since she met her pups the first day. We at Metro Frenchies can’t thank this team enough!
We had a very good experience at All Pets and would like to thank Dr. Alsamadisi for taking care of our 15-yr-old jack-russel beagle mix, who had a soft tissue mass on his back. Given my dog's age as well as abnormally high liver enzymes, he was a very poor candidate for surgery with general anesthesia. In fact, a few vets refused to remove the soft tissue mass due to these factors. I turned to All Vets because they have the option of laser surgery and, depending on the case, the possibility of not using general anesthesia. Dr. Alsamadisi worked with us to remove the mass without general anesthesia and my dog recovered perfectly. The surgical site healed nicely and he is doing very well. I am so grateful. The laser surgery option is fantastic. I would go here again, if needed. The staff was nice and accommodating as well. Thank you again!
Dr Sam is very knowledgeable vet. He performed two surgeries for my german shepherd dog and everybody in the clinic provided the best veterinary care for her. I would highly recommend this place.
I have been bringing my dog here since I adopted her a year ago and seeing the female vet whom I really liked, BUT — every time I tried ordering the heartworm meds on Chewy to save $$, the *office* refused to sign off on the called in prescriptions saying “we’ll match the Chewy price” sticker price not subscribe & save price - essentially refusing to allow me to order for less $$ and forcing me to buy the medication from their office so THEY could make $$ off of me. The one star is because the female vet clearly cares and doesn’t try to “upsell” and overcharge, and the techs are sweet and caring. Otherwise I would have tried to give negative stars for this next part. This past week I brought my dog in because of recurring diarrhea and we had no choice but to see “Dr. Sam,” the male vet/owner. He told me while he was initially examining her he would do xrays and blood work and he would bill them as one price “for $50”. An hour later !!!! he comes back and shows me her bloodwork all normal and her intestines on the xrays - empty - and diagnoses colitis. They took about 12 !!!!!! xrays. They really only needed 2, possibly a max of 4 - side view to check her heart, vital organs and long view to check for possible obstruction in her intestines. But they took TWELVE xrays. Totally unnecessary. Proceeds to give her 2 injections very rough, not gentle at all - poor thing was shocked and yelped at each - when the female vet gave her her shots at the annual visit, she was so gentle and wonderful with my dog. We were also given 3 medications to take home and give to 2x day. Importantly: No advice how to prevent future bouts of diarrhea/colitis. NO ADVICE HOW TO PREVENT FUTURE BOUTS OF DIARRHEA - THE REASON WE WENT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Finally, I go to the front desk and the original bill would have been OVER $1000.00. For diarrhea. While examining her he pointed out the tartar on her teeth - clearly he wanted to upcharge me for “cleaning” her teeth as well. My poor dog came home traumatized and hasn’t pooped since Friday morning when I first brought her to the vet - 2 days ago. I have been feeding her plain rice with chicken broth and a little bit of chicken and this always cleared up her diarrhea in the past and is clearly working now as well. As a single mom on a very tight budget, I was shocked and extremely upset at the amount of the bill and said so. The woman behind the desk was unsympathetic and actually scoffed at me. The vet “discounted” the bill so that I wound up paying $670 instead of $1,000. All the owner cares about is $$$$. The tech was sweet and sympathetic—not the woman behind the desk and not the owner. I will be taking my dog and my business to a vet who cares about the pet AND the owner in future and does not see a pet owner who cares as an opportunity to perform all sorts of expensive and unnecessary tests to scoop as much $$$$$$ as possible from caring pet owners.
It's a shame too because I live so close to here. But everytime I take my pet to this place they are always a little rough on her and I don't appreciate that. Also needed her claw to be trimmed and Dr Sam said he only did on paw because no one else was in to help so he charged me full price without trimming the 3 other paws. This happened a long time ago but it still bugs me. Very unprofessional. If you can't handle a small pet then change careers
Horrible experience, I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The vet overcharged us by $200+. Before the appointment I called and asked what the cost of each x-ray would be. On the day of the appointment, they charged us almost $20 more than they quoted me on the phone. I called to get clarity on the charges and he lied saying he gave us a “special deal”. I confronted him about the lie and he then lied again. I would never take my dog anywhere near this place.
