The Migrant Resource Council is a group comprised of area agencies, growers, educators and concerned citizens.
In 1978 the Office of Migrant Affairs, was given the gubernatorial support by the Department of Health and Human Services to establish a network of MRC’s (Migrant Resource Councils) throughout the state. We are a non-funded voluntary group. Our main objective is to work in resolving the unmet needs of Migrant Farmworkers by coordinating services, removing barriers and providing information of resources to families so they are safe and healthy during their time in Michigan.
