They are the best pharmacy that I’ve worked with. At my old pharmacy I had to do so much leg work. I would have remind them when my refills are due. Often times they had to order my meds so I had to stay on top of it. With Allen, I don’t have to do anything. They always deliver on time and I’m really happy with the service.
Sometimes when you read the negative reviews for different places you decide some of them are hyperbolic and decide to give the place a chance anyway. Take a gamble. Well, the gamble failed. Please don’t make that mistake here. The reviews are not hyperbolic and they aren’t worth giving a chance. They truly are a terrible pharmacy. What pharmacy in 2023 doesn’t notify you that they received your script from the doctors and that they filled it? Especially for medicine that is in such high demand and low supply across the nation and especially in the state of California. Then when you call to figure out what happened they try and absolve themselves of responsibility and claim it’s the doctor's office that’s supposed to notify you that the medicine has been filled or that the script was sent. That’s not my experience at all. What century do they think this is? Do you want me to send a letter via the post office too as a means of communicating? Ridiculous. Hands down the worst pharmacy with the worst staff I’ve ever encountered.
If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. This place is the worst pharmacy to use. My doctor sent a prescription out yesterday and they are saying they haven’t received it. My medication is a medication I MUST take daily and they don’t seem to care about that. I also called them yesterday for delivery which they said they would have it delivered by 6 which of course I never received. so why didn’t they tell me yesterday that they never received the prescription for my medication. Every time they were suppose to deliver they fumbled the ball and never showed up so I would have to them go and drive 20 minutes away to pick up. The staff are rude and extremely inconsiderate. Why work in this field if you have to care or respect for patients. This place is a disgrace and disgusting! These people are absolutely incompetent.
Not professional, not organized, not helpful, shady, completely lies when you call and tells you your prescription is ready, after arriving you find out it is still not ready and going to be another 25 min. Gives you the wrong items from someone else's order and trys to make you pay for them. Was missing 2 medications I didn't realize till I was half way home. One of which was still not ready and won't be until authorized. When I called and asked if my prescriptions were ready I was referring to all of them not just a couple of them. One of the prescription items they do not carry and didn't even try to provide a solution or offer to order. Just said sorry.Would really be nice to have a cashier actually go over what you are receiving instead of just handing you a bag and telling you to sign a piece of paper. I will never ever ever use this place again! Wish I could give them a negative review because one star is far to generous.
I've been using Allen Pharmacy for 20 years. Always the best service I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Called to ask about my medicine, the woman who answered seemed bothered that I was even calling. She didn't take any info about me or my medicine and then hung up on me.
I change my 5-star to 1 because after years of faithfulness they suddenly started making the mistake of delivering my meds to the wrong person. Often they don't even check if you're the right person when they're delivering to you. This concerns two recent cases, I had to call two days straight to ask what happened to the meds and finally they told me that I had to go in person because they were supposedly already delivered. In short, the drivers are corrupted. They've stolen the meds and create evidence that the receiver signed the note at the address. Then they lie to you that you weren't home to receive the delivery so you have a bad record now and aren't allowed any future delivery.
I've been with Allen's Pharmacy for more than five years. Initially there were many problems with medication not getting delivered and uncalled refills being sent out. About four different people have delivered my medication over time, and all have been friendly and courteous. I also get all my medication on time since they changed locations. Unfortunately there is a lady on the phone whose mannerisms are so pointlessly irreverent that it drags down an otherwise pleasant pharmacy experience.
These people are inconsiderate of people the delivery driver is always late delivers late at night. They care.about the patients needing there medication
I have been using Allens Rx for 15 years. They just moved to a bigger location and they are the best in town delivery Pharmacy. No more waiting in lines for your medications for hours, No driving to the Pharmacy every day. They just mail out your prescriptions or deliver same day to your house!!!
