The Alliance Fire Department was organized in 1891 as the Alert Fire Department and fathered by Louis Buechsenstein. Troy Shoemaker is the current Chief.
The mission of the Alliance Fire Department is to provide prompt, professional, fire and emergency response to the community of Alliance and the surrounding area. We are a team that values innovation, education, and ideas which enable us to save lives, reduce property loss, and improve emergency services to meet the changing life safety needs of citizens.
