The Alliance for Fair Food is a national network of people working in partnership with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers for farmworker justice.
The Alliance for Fair Food (AFF) is the vibrant, diverse ally network of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), the internationally-acclaimed farmworker organization transforming human rights in the U.S. agricultural industry. The principal focus of the Alliance for Fair Food is the Campaign for Fair Food, a farmworker-led, community-powered movement that successfully holds major food retailers accountable to the highest human rights standards in their produce supply chains.
Following the leadership of the CIW, the Alliance for Fair Food seeks to create a national network that brings together diverse communities in action for farmworker justice: students and young people; people of faith and conscience; food justice and women’s rights advocates; artists; worker and community groups; human rights organizations; and any individual who seeks to ally with farmworkers in the struggle for justice and dignity in the fields. Their juncture is one of the few points at which such a broad range of peoples come together in an accountable relationship with workers who are leading — and winning — their own struggle for systemic change.
The Alliance for Fair Food (AFF) seeks justice, dignity and respect for all farmworkers as part of a broader vision of justice for all peoples. The AFF works in partnership with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), building a vibrant, diverse national network that takes action in pursuit of fair wages and working conditions for farmworkers through the Campaign for Fair Food.
