I was in town and looking for a place to train, and I settled on Alliance because I normally train with an Alliance gym in Texas. The gym was spacious and clean. The instructors and members were all very welcoming and gracious. I could tell the skill level of their members and instructors was top notch, and I never felt unsafe or like anyone was out to prove a point. My gym only has one other adult female, so it was nice to get some rolls in with females my size and skill level. Whenever I’m in Atlanta, I’ll continue to visit this Alliance location.
Never have I been so offended by a business. Last March I reached out to Leo and Chuck Mason and spoke to "Doc" about pausing my membership due to work and school. This never happened and when my wife noticed the charges still being debited I reached out to Ursula Cavalcanti. She informed me that while I did request the pause it was not done correctly. This is over $1,000.00. This is not how you treat people especially disabled veterans which I am. While the instructors are great the leadership behind the gym is garage. STAY AWAY!
I'm a brown belt from Checkmat in LA and I'm visiting ATL for work. When visiting Alliance everyone was very cool, Corey at the front desk and very welcoming as well as Professor Leo. The curriculum is really well structured and the rolls were good. Definitely coming back when I'm back in town. Ossss!
The best of the best! Alliance headquarters here in the USA! Full of top notch instructors and competitors, this place also specializes in starting beginners out on the correct path to learn BJJ. No matter what your level, or if you have never trained but want to start, this is THE place in the Atlanta area to train BJJ!
I have attended Alliance for four months now. Recently I switched from beginner's level to an intermediate level. I like the structure of learning process with gradually growing intensity and difficulty, continuous repetition of material, and help from instructors and more experienced students. I really like presence of shower rooms in the facility. Flexibility of the schedule allows many choices of convenient days for training.

World Class Instruction, awesome training, with a touch of southern hospitality. I travel for work and try to train at the local schools when I can so I dropped in for the advanced class at Alliance Atlanta. Hands down, one of the best. Staff, students and coaches were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Leo taught a great class. Everyone trains hard and has fun.. great atmosphere with tons of talent. If I lived in Atlanta, this would be my spot.. no question. Thanks for everything guys.. keep crushing it!
My husband and I choose Alliance Martial Arts Center Headquarters for the incredible curriculum and authentic history which brought Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here in United States. If you wish to learn from the SOURCE, if you wish to compete, if you wish to understand, and not just memorize the moves, this place is for you! It has been 5 months since we joined this school, and I have to say that curriculum and professionalism with paying attention to every person and every detail makes this school an UNIVERSITY. This school puts standard on what Martial Art school should look like! Regardless, if you wish to compete or not, there is always something to learn here. All ages are welcome, from 5 years old to 100 years old! I am more than impressed! Jiu-Jitsu does not come easy for me. But I feel the support of my professors and teammates every step of the way. In the competitive World, Alliance is the number ONE school! So, what can be better than learning from CHAMPIONS?!
