Allied Physicians of Michiana, LLC (ALLIED) was formed by eight, independent, physician-owned groups in 1997. At that time, physician practices were consolidating and managed care was on the rise in North Central Indiana. Allied Physicians continues to tackle the rising tide of integrated delivery systems, payer price compression and governmental regulations. The physicians of ALLIED recognize that we are better together and, therefore, created a unique, supportive and resourceful multi-specialty healthcare system committed to continually improving processes to provide unparalleled service.
Only physicians that are Board Certified in their specialty are members of ALLIED. Although some of our affiliated offices are located near or are connected to one of the area hospitals, the majority of our physicians have privileges at both Memorial Hospital of South Bend and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Mishawaka. Some providers have privileges at Elkhart General Hospital and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Plymouth. The majority of Allied physicians practice at University Commons in South Bend (just west of the mall on route 23 in the old Kroger complex). Others have offices in downtown South Bend, Elkhart and Plymouth.
