In the fall of 2011 ALMA COLLEGE fielded a varsity wrestling team for the first time since 1984. In that first season 26 pioneers led the Scots to five dual meet victories and senior Conrad Bovee (Ithaca) was crowned a Scholar All-American at season's end. In year two, the Scots moved from a 5-10 record to 9-6, while winning the Mid-States Conference Championships and defeating rivals Trine University and Olivet College in dual meets. By year three, Alma was in the national rankings at #22 and finished 2nd in the nation academically with over a 3.62 GPA. The Scots also got their first national qualifier in 2014 when sophomore Jamie Jakes represented Alma at the NCAA Championships. Let's see where we land in year number four!
