The food was perfect so was the atmosphere. The waitress had great knowledge of the menu . The waitress didn't constantly come to the table but actually came back to us in a timely manner. Not only was the baked spaghetti great, but I've never said that a salad could be perfectly seasoned. The price was amazing fir what we had gotten with the food and the service. After dinner we took a look at there display deserts, that look just as great as what we had for our entree. The waitress Gina hope spelled properly told us all abt them as well. We didn't get desert cause we're definitely going back again to try ut next time. Great time!
This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The pepperoni rolls are awesome and the pepperoni mac and cheese is one of the best things I have ever ate. Professional service, and the food came out within 30 minutes. I will be back!
Kind of expensive but really worth it. The food is better than it looks and it looks amazing. It is really small but very classy and nice. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind.
Excellent cuisine, friendly, A+ clean, great price. My favorite ever!
It's a nice small italian buffet for lunch time. Price is 10$, this includes drink, which is awesome. usually there is choice of 3 pizza selections, no special requests offered, 2 different types of pasta, the Alfredo is amazing, 3 different types of soups, broccoli cheddar, my favorite, bean soup and veggie soup usually and already made salad. it's a variety. no dessert included,a but you could purchase something. it's all very good. The staff is super nice.
The food is excellent! We had the salad n pizza and even though I didnt have any dessert, there was a wide variety that looked delicious. I wish the self serve salad bowl, along w serving plates was removed from the same counter where you pay,to a separate table. Your waiting to serve yourself, along w the paying customer. You need the customer to get out of the way to reach your serving bowl. Also eating customers, their table is too close to this counter. The seated customer kept leaning forward, from the standing customer at the paying/serving counter. I will still go back.
This is a very nice sit down restaurant. It is a little small but that is part of what makes it nice. All the food seams to be hand made. I had a pizza that you could tell was not a cookie cutter created pizza. The food is very good. And they also have some stuff on the menu for kids. It is a good place for a date or the entire family.
Had a semi-surprise birthday for a dear friend and 12 of her closest friends...Food and service were superb Our waitress was knowledgeable, helpful with our food and wine selections..we decorated the "bar" room with candles, balloons, flowers.. The bottom line???? We all had a fantastic time ...thanks to Greg,Andy and their staff... We highly recommend the pepperoni rolls for appetizer. .the Eyetalian dip was excellent. .
I’m a huge suporter of locally owned and operated establishments. I was excited about Alma’s Italian begging you to drop the EYE. I was there the week they opened and was very put off. I’m pleased to say there has been a huge improvement since then. We arrived around 8 on a Saturday evening and the place was empty. We were seated in the back room near the bar. I was happy to have a quiet spot-other than a woman seated next to the bar with her feet on the table. She was having a loud and lengthy conversation on her cell phone. I tried to ignore it because I was later oh a Saturday evening. After our meal was delivered I was disappointed to see the woman end her phone call and walk behind the bar to let them know she was leaving. She was apparently an employee, which made her behavior even more unacceptable: We had the cheese bread as an appetizer. It was pretty tasty. The marinara dipping sauce had a decent flavor but was way too thick, which I can attribute to the late hour. Our salads came with a mix of lettuces which seemed green and fresh. The only toppings were red onion and a slice of canned pineapple which was nothing less than confusing. The salad was accompanied by what I can only describe as soggy saltines rolled in Italian seasoning. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions of our entrees but not much else. I had the drunken mussels. The bowl and size were gigantic but the flavor wasn’t. There were a bunch of mussels on a bunch of pasta but there was also no sauce or flavor. Several of my mussels weren’t open and that concerned me enough to eat cautiously. The rest of my family ordered lasagna, baked spaghetti and pizza: none were remarkable. The highlight seemed to be the dough on our appetizer and pizza: in contrast, the bread they brought to our table was cold and we weren’t able to recognize what kind of bread they were. Our server was adequate but had to ask what each of us were drinking every single time she offered a refill. Understandable on a busy night but a little ridiculous when we were the lone patrons in an empty restaurant. When the bill came, the flaws were highlighted. I’m thrilled to pay for quality. This was mediocre food with mediocre service in a possibly less than mediocre ambience which made the price seem high. Still, I will Probably return. We need more local places in Ashland and I’m willing to donate my money in hopes of improvement. Most people I know feel the same way as we do. If the owners are willing listen and adjust, this place might be great. Here’s hoping
Over priced for regular people. This is a place for rich people to spend a lot of money on some noodles sauce and cheese. The sweet tea was so awful, I had to switch to coke and I never do that. The salad had these seasoned crackers that weren't very good and seasoned pineapple. The ranch was really flavorful though. We got the four cheese ravioli and stuffed shells. The sauce on both was fairly spicy for pasta sauce, the stuffed shells were just so stuffed that it was really overwhelming. Over it would be better if you had disposable income.
