My recent stay at Aloft Asheville, NC, was an unforgettable experience that combined the best of both worlds: a vibrant location near music venues and restaurants, complemented by stunning mountain views and a fantastic pool deck. The location of Aloft Asheville is simply unbeatable for music enthusiasts and foodies alike. It's situated within walking distance of some of the city's best music venues, making it a dream destination for concert-goers. The convenience of being able to attend live shows and performances without having to worry about transportation was a major highlight of the stay. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by a diverse array of restaurants, catering to every culinary preference. Whether you're craving Southern comfort food, international cuisine, or farm-to-table delights, you'll find plenty of dining options just a stone's throw away from the hotel. Apart from its prime location, Aloft Asheville also boasts breathtaking mountain views. The vistas of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains are a treat for the eyes and create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. This was one of the most fun vacation hotel spots I've ever enjoyed in a city setting! Everything about this property was so well thought out. Our cabana room on the pool level was just delightful! The refresh cafe in the lobby looks like a snack bar, but it actually hides a full service high quality kitchen that serves incredible handmade breakfast dishes!! The lobby bar is lovely, with live music on the weekends! This hotel is also very popular with dog owners, and it so happens we love dogs, but if you are not a dog fancier, be prepared to be around a lot of dogs. Nearby activities: This hotel is right in the heart of everything that is great about the downtown district of Asheville. Walk out the front door, and it is just 100% charming and everything right there for you. Walkability: If you're interested in the downtown arty musical district of Asheville, this location is outstanding!
This has become one of my favorite hotel chains. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lobby was well decorated and even though it’s in the city, there is still a good view of the mountains. It’s in a good location with lots of interesting things to see within walking distance. Just a great place to stayRooms: 5/5
The hotel is very nice and a fun vibe, but the pillows in the room are god awful. Worse than hospital pillows. The staff is lovely and the drinks at the bar are superb, but again, can’t get over the horrendous pillows.Rooms: 4/5
Checking into this fantastic hotel was fast, easy. Everyone that works there was so happy and accommodating. Location is perfect you can walk everywhere. So many bars and restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend this Hotel for an awesome experience especially if it’s your first time in Asheville. Nearby activities: Hiking, tours and live music venues Walkability: Everything is in walking distance shopping, coffee bars, entertainment and don’t forget about the breweries! Food & drinks: Delicious food and Breweries and great dessert !!
The room was great but our view of the mountains were impeded by the construction that they are doing on the hotel. The beds were not very comfortable and sleeping wasn’t easy. That being said, the bar was awesome and had a beautiful view of downtown. The pool was also gorgeous and had a view of the mountains. It was super close to the concert we attended at Harrahs. We were able to walk home. Rooms: Bed was not very comfortable. Walkability: Super close to Harrahs if you are going to a concert!
We didn't get to stay at the Aloft in downtown Asheville but we did eat pizza across the street where we got the opportunity to sit outside and look at the beautiful location that the hotel is located at! It was the perfect spot for our dog to be outside enjoying the passerby's petting her and giving her attention. Everyone's really nice and easy to talk to. Definitely will go back! Food & drinks: I can't recall the place I ate at off the top of my head but it's across the street and their Pizza is killer! Kind of reminds me of the pizza in New York only less greasy!
The lobby has an overwhelming strong potpourri scent, loud music, and dirty floors. Rooms are only barely better. Ran AC non stop and couldn’t get room cooled enough for comfort. Location is loud. Would be fine for half the price but not for the premium rate.Rooms: 1/5
Had the absolute best experience at this hotel!! We were upgraded to a poolside room for my family, which was a gorgeous way to way up two excited little kids. We had a super late arrival… the hotel already had the crib setup for us, which in addition to to mobile checkin made what could have been a super-painful night into something easy, peaceful, and pleasant. Additionally all the staff were SO nice! The hotel was clean, cute, and perfectly located! Thank you for the 5 star Asheville experience!
This hotel is a great location with access to all downtown Asheville has to offer. We loved that we could bring our pup with us and had a really lovely and spacious room. There was some unexpected construction by NCDOT but management was so accommodating and helpful to us when we brought up the issue. Would recommend and will certainly return.
