Description

Alpaca Pines llc is a place where the Alpacas and Llama can run and play. The majority of the herd are rescues. We enjoy visitors! We welcome boy/girl scouts, special interest groups, etc for a small fee. Our Mill began processing fiber in May 2016. We are family owned and ran. This dream was no easy task! This took a lot of pencil pushing, paper filing, tears and yes arguments. We traveled from Northern Illinois to PEI Canada to order out mill equipment. If your a Alpaca farm or possibly have wool, angora, camel..etc we can process your fiber!! Stop by the farm and check out our yarn shop. We have a nice supply of yarns and lots of other alpaca items. A big thank you to our family and friends that have been supporting us in this journey!

Vicky was so great! We loved walking around and learning about Alpacas! Our son loved the chickens and ducks the best ! We were shown how to spin fiber and it was so amazing to see what goes into the process of making yarns! It was nice to have our own private tour ! Thanks so much guys !!!
Super friendly, met the whole family! My kids loved the tour and meeting the animals. I got some awesome raw fleece to spin, will definitely keep in touch and visit again.
We had an amazing time feeding alpacas, llamas and other animals. Met the whole family and spend an amazing time there! Make sure to stop by!
I am one very happy customer! Alpaca pines did an amazing job on my alpaca fiber. The extra care and love Vicki puts into her work is so noticeable. She sure has a gift and I will recommend to all!
Wonderful alpaca farm, fiber mill, farm store. The owners are the nicest people, and you can tell they love what they do. There are alpacas, llama, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and a Frankie the turkey! The alpacas are very social and friendly. This is because they receive lots of love and are well taken care of. Fiber mill is very interesting, and the farm store has all sorts of things to buy made with alpaca fiber. The dryer balls are the best!
Great place to visit for family fun and learning about fiber. I just took a class and made a felted scarf. It was a lot of fun and the scarf turned out great. I can't wait for the next class!
Best place ever great people great animals great fiber plant great gift shop
We had a fantastic tour today spending time with the alpacas and the ducks and the sheep it was all wonderful!
What a nice family run farm Alpaca Pines is. We stopped by thinking it was Boone County Farm Stroll day. It wasn’t; we were a day early. The owners Bob and Vicki Donley were super nice about it and took the time to show us around. We spent time in the back learning about the mill and yarn making process. Outside we checked out the alpacas. Interesting animals. Back in the store we browsed their finished alpaca products and we left with a couple things. This is definitely a five star destination.
I would leave zero stars if I could. Drove for 30 minutes, the sign says they're open, however the dior is locked and lights are off. Love to see thier store, but i won't be coming back.
