The Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega has stood the true test of time at Washington State University since its establishment on campus in 1911, the only fraternity on campus to never been shut down. Many great men have come out of this chapter in the past 104 years, leaders in the greek community and outside it. The teachings and experiences within our leadership fraternity are aimed at turning good men great. The men of ATO are committed to making a difference not just within their community but also aspire to make a difference in the world. We shape men to lead with true values and integrity.
The bonds between our brothers last a lifetime. The ATO greek tradition found in our brotherhoods, initiation process, house meetings, and everyday life bind our men with a college experience and lifestyle unique to any other .
The men of Alpha Tau Omega Gamma Chi are truly one of a kind!
To bind men together in a brotherhood based upon eternal and immutable principles, with a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity; to know no North, no South, no East, no West but to know man as man, to teach that true men the world over should stand together and contend for supremacy of good over evil; to teach, not politics, but morals; to foster, not partisanship, but the recognition of true merit wherever found; to have no narrower limits within which to work together for the elevation of man than the outlines of the world: These were the thoughts and hopes uppermost in the minds of the founders of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
