A society of strong and independent woman uniting together under the same Greek letters.
Alpha Theta Beta Sorority was founded on Nov. 17, 1936 by four very dedicated women. This was the first Greek organization on Hofstra University's campus and opened the door for many other Greek organizations over the years.
Sisters exemplify the motto, "Sisterhood, Sincerity, and Cooperation" through their academics, philanthropy, and involvement in Alpha Theta Beta and in other clubs on campus.
Alpha Theta Beta's colors are forest green, silver and white. The mascots that so proudly represent this organization are Kermit the Frog and the White Swan. Alpha Theta Beta is also represented by its gem, the white pearl, and its flower, the white rose.
Alpha Theta Beta is a special kind of sisterhood that is truly representative of a family. The sisters are close-knit, dedicated, and ambitious not only in the sorority itself but in everything they do.

To promote the work and achievements of Alpha Theta Beta's sisters, keep in touch with alumni, offer information for prospective members and create a community of Greek and non-Greek members that allows the organization to reach its full potential.
