Alpine Animal Foundation is a non-profit working to provide veterinary medical care for animals in need.
The Veterinary Care Charitable Fund (VCCF) is a program created by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to provide veterinarians with a simple and effective way to offer charitable veterinary services to clients facing personal hardships. In partnership with the AVMF, enrolled veterinary hospitals now have a way to offer low or no-cost services to clients who may otherwise be forced to surrender or euthanize their beloved pets. Together with family, friends and grateful clients veterinary hospitals have the ability to expand their philanthropic role within the community. Our dream is to provide veterinary care to those who, through no fault of their own, cannot provide their animals with the medical attention they need.
The Veterinary Care Charitable Fund allows veterinarians, at their personal discretion, the opportunity to provide veterinary care for pets whose owners may be disabled or facing financial hardships, including, but not limited to:
• Disabled Veterans Requiring a Service Dog
• Low Income Senior Citizens
• Good Samaritans Who Rescue Domesticated Animals
• Victims of Domestic Violence
• Animals Rescued from Neglect and Abuse
