Altamira 4 Tennis Club is a private facility with 4 lighted hard-surface courts owned and operated by the Altamira 4 HOA for the use of its residents and a limited number of non-residents. Three teaching professionals are available and courts may be signed up to a week in advance.
The courts are conveniently located just east of I-5 between the Poinsettia Ln. and Palomar Airport Rd. exits on the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Paseo del Norte. Restrooms and shower facilities are available to all members.
Monthly dues are a modest $30 for single adults and $40 for family or dual memberships with a $100 initiation fee and $50 refundable key deposit. Guest fees are $2 per guest.
Currently there is mens' doubles open tennis on Mondays/Fridays from 10am-noon and there are several women's groups that play regularly. However, the majority of court play is by individual arrangement and notices may be posted near the court sign-up sheets at the entrance to the courts.
