Alton Elementary School in Independence, Missouri

Yes, Alton was my School. It had a block corner stone with the same date as my fathers birthdate. July 23,1923. So many good kids and friends that grew up many with unbelievable legacys. It is a shame that it was not preserved in its natural state. This year celebrates its 100th birthday. Movie stars, directors, writers, artist, doctors, lawyers, musicians all of us in every category. I’m proud to have gone to this School and to have known so many of these students in our childhood. Roger Lee Miller 1961 thru 1966.
