Melissa Altschuler, CPA earned her A.S. degree in Accounting at Suffolk County Community College where she graduated with honors. Melissa continued her education at Long Island University, C.W. Post campus where she earned her B.S in Accounting, graduating Cum Laude. While working towards her B.S. degree, Melissa worked in the Internal Audit department of an international Fortune 500 company. After a few years in Internal Audit, Melissa moved to general accounting at the same company. Upon earning her B.S. in accounting, Melissa moved to the External Reporting department, where she concentrates on financial statement preparation and SEC Filings. In addition to this, Melissa has been preparing tax returns from home for several years now. Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York, as well as a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Melissa is a Notary Pulic in the State of New York.
