Delicious!!!! I had the Stuffed French Toast with strawberries and cream cheese filling - it was DELISH!! Everybody had food envy. I ordered sausage patty as a side but that was pretty basic. Someone else in my party ordered the Belgian Waffles with strawberries whip cream left off and another ordered the Chicken Finger Skillet. Service was great, seated right away and prices were acceptable. I'd definitely go again....and get the stuffed french toast!
Amazing! Eat Here! Stopped by for dinner on the way to Chicago. I had the chicken strips skillet and it was outstanding. The Belgian waffles were amazing as was the stuffed french toast. We also had to get a side order of fries because they looked so good and THEY WERE!
This really is an outstanding restaurant. The food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and worked as a team. I really enjoyed it. Breakfast is always available and well worth it. One afternoon I was here for dinner and had liver and onions. They were also very very good. Superb restaurant. I will definitely be back.
Home made food! We had the special Swedish Meatballs and the liver with onions and bacon. The creamy broccoli soup was delicious! Everyone was so friendly! Definitely will be back!
Awesome experience! We were visiting Eau Claire and looking for a good place for breakfast. The service was outstanding. Friendly and SO fast. The portions were generous and everything was fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend! Kid-friendliness: High chair was clean and everyone was welcoming to the baby!
Steak for breakfast seems to be harder and harder to find now days. But this is the place. If your looking for steak and eggs for breakfast. Service is always fast and welcoming. Food comes out soon after order is taken. One of my husband's favorite restaurants.Food: 5/5
This is a fantastic family restaurant. They come around and refill drinks without you even having to ask. The portions are large and for a fair price. The food was actually very well seasoned. One of us had a meat ball special and the other stuffed French toast and I would recommend both! We will definitely be back.Recommended dishesStuffed French Toast
Oh, where to start?... It was my first time coming here, and we got in very quickly. The employees are extremely efficient. We got our drinks taken after we sat down, then within... I'm gonna say, 10 seconds of them getting our drinks, they asked us if we're ready to order our food. We asked for more time. I was dead hungry. My stomach was empty. The food was phenomenal. As we were eating, a waiter came by rather quickly, cleaned a table when people just left, and had others seated at it almost tight away. The food is phenomenal. The service is great. These workers are fast too. When I took the last bite of my breakfast, I was full. I would totally recommend this place to other people!
Very cool place, good food, definabtly exceeded my expectations
I've been a regular at this establishment for several years, but today I came for the first time by myself. I was treated exceptionally by wait staff, my food was hot and fast, and even though there was a line at the door I didn't wait more than a few minutes. Altoona Family Restaurant is a finely honed system where everybody gets delicious food and nobody has to wait for long. 10/10 recommend!
