The APOA (Alvin Police Officer’s Association) is an organization composed of both police officers and civilian employees who are currently employed by the City of Alvin Police Department. The Association was organized for the purpose of enforcing, protecting, and enhancing the rights and benefits of its members through collective bargaining and to assure a better quality of life for our members and the citizens of Alvin through proactive community involvement. The Association is dedicated to promoting and protecting members’ rights through strong representation as well as improving it's members safety and quality of life. We are committed to supporting and improving our relationship with the community by both volunteer support and financial assistance. Our Association is built upon a foundation of Unity, Integrity, and Community Involvement. The Alvin Police Officer’s Association performs in a manner that brings credit to and reflects favorably upon the law enforcement profession and the community in which we serve.
