Amazing Cakes-Mike's

If you want an AMAZING cake for a special occasion, this is your guy. I wanted a topsy-turvy teapot cake for our son’s engagement party, and Mike made it happen. Great communication throughout the process, sketching an idea for me to approve right away, and staying in touch at every step so important to me and so appreciated as I love to stay organized!. The cake was delivered exactly on time, and then the fun part: watching jaws drop as guests walked in. Delicious too we had chocolate-vanilla marble cake with chocolate filling. Our guests will be talking about this cake for years! Smashing success.

Such a great experience with this Mike’s Amazing Cakes! Incredibly responsive through email and it was a breeze to place my order. Not only did the cake look amazing but the flavors were incredible and the cake was super moist as well. So insanely creative with his ideas for my wacky cake, truly a cake dream come true. Will be coming back for any future cake needs!

Mike did our wedding cake exactly how I envisioned it. It was so beautiful and it tasted even better. The cake was one of my favorite parts of the entire night.

The cake was beautifully designed, however for the high price it pays I thought the cake would taste better. No one liked the cake the party. Dry cake, tasteless, pure sugar filling, no real diced filling fruits, I don’t mean to be mean, but even a supermarket cake would taste better. I am really upset about it. But they did an amazing job at decoration. The looks pay, but if you’re looking for a good taste, it’s the wrong place. From all my birthdays this caked tasted the worst.

Fantastic job! He made the whole process very easy and stress free and very affordable. It was exactly what we wanted. We also ordered gluten free cupcakes. Flowers are from the florist.

Don’t let the pictures on the website fool you, his work is not that great. We were really disappointed with the design. We also asked that the cake be chocolate and banana, but after tasting we were all confused to what the flavor actually was. Definitely not ordering again

We ordered our wedding cake from Mike and it was fantastic. Mike worked with us through email to make sure it looked great, offering some suggestions we wouldn’t have thought of to make it look even better than we pictured. I am not big on sweets or cakes to begin with but the lemon cake with lemon filling cake was superb. Light and airy and flavorful with lemon but not at all bitter or overdone. It was honestly perfect. I wish we had ordered for more guests than we had so I could have leftovers now. It was the tastiest cake I have had in recent memory. Delivery on the day of the event was seamless and easy. Surprisingly affordable compared to other Seattle area vendors, especially at this level of quality. Highly recommended.

Mike's Amazing Cakes did such a great job on our wedding cake! We decided to do two flavors, red velvet with cream cheese frosting on the top and bottom tier and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for the middle tier. Both flavors were absolutely delicious, but I am a hardcore carrot cake fan so that was my favorite. They made the cake tasting so easy to schedule and were so flexible with our times. Theresa is always available to answer questions by email which I appreciated so much and she explained everything so well and made it so easy. The cake was delivered on time and I definitely appreciate all their hard work and would definitely recommend!

Mike's Amazing Cakes not only lived up to, but surpassed their name in ther creation of the cake for our 4th of July wedding. My husband and I are both big Shel Silverstein fans, and my darling is an avid D&D player. We asked that Mike create a cake combining the cover image from Where the Sidewalk Ends with a dragon, and were more than thrilled with the result. Indeed, the cake was such a hit, we had to delay the cake cutting until about 20 of our guests had enough time to take pictures. Even better, not only was the cake gorgeous, it was amazingly moist and delicious to boot. I can't recommend them highly enough. I can hardly wait for an excuse to order another specialty cake from them.
