"Baltic Amber Restaurant & Bar is a Lithuanian inspired restaurant serving a variety of dishes from traditional Lithuanian such as Cepelinai, Zemaiciu pancakes to pastas, burgers, steaks and more. The restaurant was opened by a Lithuanian family in 2020 to bring a taste of Lithuania as well as decor to a small town in Suffolk, Haverhill. The restaurant is located in the same space as Travelodge hotel making it easier for guests that rent out the restaurant for weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties, wakes, baby showers and so on.Live music nights are a big hit at the restaurant, in the recent years there have been performances of big Lithuanian stars such as Patruliai, Zilvinas Zvagulis and Irena Starosaite."

Lovely tasty meals, generous portion sizes and when we couldn't finish, they boxed it up for us. Very helpful staff and lovely restaurant. Very quiet, not at all busy which definitely doesn't reflect the quality. Give this restaurant a go, doubt you will be disappointed.Food: 5/5
Delicious chicken roast dinner and rocky road sundae. Extremely attentive service. Very impressed with how many servers came to check on my group. We were given the table next to the loos and in other places I have been it has been out of sight... Out of mind but not here. Keep up the good work.
Good food and good service. Has a nice welcome as soon as i walked in the pubFood: 5/5
Lovely family run Lithuanian restaurant. Had 2 evening meals there. Lovely homemade fresh food. Good portion sizes. The staff were amazing, 3 young servers over the two evenings we ate there were exceptional! Do not bypass this restaurant, it is outside of Haverhill, it fully deserves a visit. It has only been open for a couple of years, the attention to detail inside and outside of the restaurant is to a high standard. Well worth a visit if you're in the area!! Parking: Plenty of parking
Great food, generous portions and friendly staff, but we waited a little longer than necessary for the food to be cooked and arrive. Very clean, tidy restaurant. The toilets lack the same quality and attention to detail as the rest of the building. Still a lovely place to eat, much better than the Flying Shuttle which is going rapidly downhill. Kid-friendliness: When we were here near Christmas last year, Santa left some presents for the kids and the staff were great with them. Its really nice and important to involve children and engage with them if you want a family friendly location for gatherings. Well done.
The food was well priced for large portions. It was tasty and well cooked. Really enjoyed the potato pancakes. My daughter ate from the kids menu which was great value. Polite quick service, clean and tidy. We will go back. Great local restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Great value kids menu
Exceptional care and attention to service, way beyond that which you expect to receive in far more expensive venues. They serve great food have a great choice of beers and other drinks and the staff are lovely people.Food: 5/5
My friends and I enjoyed a lovely meal on New Years Eve night and we agreed that we will be visiting this restaurant in Haverhill on a regular basis. The food was first class, the portions right, the service was good and the prices were appropriate. Excellent experience.
A family run Lithuanian restaurant hidden away behind the Travelodge. A good bar with a nice variety of beers wines and spirits. Be prepared, portions are B I G. Normally I would associate big portions with low quality, but this is not the case at the Baltic, the food is of excellent quality, just go there hungry. Staff are very friendly. If you can, go there when it is very busy and experience the Chef helping the waiters serve the food. He is far a better chef than waiter, but extremely funny with it. Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian and Gluten free. Parking: A massive carpark that is part of the Travel Lodge Dietary restrictions: Offer Gluten Free options, although I wish that some of the Lithuanian speciality dishes had gluten free options and I would love to try them.
We visited for the first and last time last night. Our waitress couldn't have been any less attentive if she tried. I had to go to the bar to request more drinks, despite there being plenty of staff stood around. It took an hour and fifteen minutes for our main course to arrive. It was a busy evening but even so, that is an unacceptable wait. We didn't have time for a second course and left feeling very disappointed. Won't return again.
