Amber Park

My cousin has been at Amber now for a year and the staff has been GREAT! There were a few bumps up front which we expected. My cousin as much as I love her can be difficult at times, as we all can, but the staff and the aides have learned how to deal with her. There was some change over of aides, I feel that they did everything that they could to make sure that the residents were taken care of. My cousin has become more active and is much happier than she has been. I would totally recommend Amber Park. The staff and the aides are wonderful

My parents have been at Amber Park for three years. Their room and the facilities couldn't be a better fit for their lifestyle. The decor is bright and cheery. The food is good. We have always had friendly helpful staff who are willing to talk to me and discuss my Parents' care.

If I could give no stars, I would. This place has mold in their walk in for the kitchen, ignores the residents, and does not meet health codes they should. I am related to one of the employees that left and was informed that residents were left overnight in their mess, food poisoning was given to residents due to an old chef, and people were left unhelped because they were under staffed. They would receive no food truck and no AC due to bills not being paid and the employees are overworked. Don’t take anyone here. Not all the employees are bad but a lot of them just genuinely don’t care.

Place was real good for a while Jennifer was the boss. Then corporate office quit paying good wages so they could only keep the lazy employees. Services deteriorated to what we thought was unsafe and not worth the cost so we moved my Mom to Chimes in Johnstown.

Im very happy with this facility for my 93 yr old mother. The staff is compassionate and caring. I feel confident that she has everything she needs, and help is always close by!

Beautiful facility, warm welcoming environment, caring dedicated staff, and wonderful residents. It is a pleasure to be able to partner with this facility and care for the Pickerington Aging population!

Mgt doesnt pay well so good help is leaving. That leaves slow Democrats and foreigners. Keep the foreigners. We moved my Mom out.

Staffing levels are lacking, resulting in frequent service breakdowns for those needing individual assistance. High levels of turnover from management through the ranks.

It's okay but they need more staff in my opinion. Lots of rush and confusion during meal times.
