I have mixed feelings about this theater. Overall my experience was close to good. Beast seating at this theater goes for middle or close to screen. If you are sitting in the last couple of rows prepare to see people's heads or stand up while in the middle of movie. Also the bathroom was smelly. Couldn't notice much staff, I guess short staff. The movie experience was good, the recliner seat was functioning for me. The only advantage for this place is reclining seating.
I just moved super close to this AMC so have been here more than 5 times already in two months. The place is very big, though there are no Dolby or IMAX theatres the AMC description was misleading. The theatres themselves are clean, but yesterday I was in theatre 7 and my reclining seat was broken. The concession stand people don’t seem to know premiers from the other customers and took the orders from people closest to them. Took some yelling from the premier line to get them to notice us. The regular popcorn was very fresh and delicious, but the specialty ones looked sad… wanted to try the Oreo flavor yesterday it was 7 o’clock when I went but there wasn’t even enough for a small bag. Women’s bathrooms can definitely do better. Also a note that if you can’t preorder food/drinks on the App. It says “deliver to seat” in the apps but only to specific theaters.
Experience wasn’t too great. The guy at the register gave me room temperature popcorns so I went back to ask for a freshly popped bag. Which they were also giving out And he said that he gave me a fresh bag and didn’t bother to listen. Honestly, it’s just popcorn but it sucks eating cold popcorns that I paid for. Barely ate them. A few good things about this theater is that they have reclining seats & Korean movies.
Shocked of the condition of this theater. We expect a certain level of excellence from AMC. The place was filthy. Everything was old and dirty. The downstairs bathroom was half closed because the urinals had backed up and the whole place smelled like urine. The elevator barely fit a wheelchair and one of our three seats didn't recline. Only thing decent was the chicken fingers. So disappointed with the whole experience...
Honestly I haven't been to a movie for a long time. So when I went to the AMC Ridgefield Park movie theater I was pleasantly surprised. Now you can pre-purchase your seat row and # on the internet. The seats are recliners, big and so comfortable. The best part is that there is plenty of room for people to walk past you in the aisle without you having to get up. It's so relaxing and the sound is great the big screen makes you feel you are part of the movie. The theater is kept clean and looks nice. We went to see the Barbie movie and had so much fun taking pictures in the life-size Barbie box prior to the movie. What a nice experience for my first time in a long time going to see a movie. well the am stay is pretty nice. The lil short lady try to help me out with changing my seat reservation. I think this place have promise. There’s always room to growth and this location needs to grow. I believe it will bring more ppl in. This location is run Down! The seats are without leather or whatever type of material is covering the seat. Not just one theater but two. Idk what the others look like. From 11am from my 1st movie to 5pm the ending of my 2nd movie, they don’t have any of the games on for the kids! Why? Before and after the movie. Gotta love the kids! This place needs a make over or a good cleaning. Top to bottom! The fact that they do not have sanitary napkins for people to wipe down their seats or any of the concession where people get butter should be accessible. Seats and all. But if u ask they will provide. It makes no sense that they have a dispenser where people can take their own without asking. But they has yet to be replenished. From the 11am to 5pm. Covid it’s not over! The mens restroom smells. There is dust and dirt all around the concession area. Top to bottom! U can see, dirt dust, that needs to be cleaned. Especially around food. For some strange reason the female staffs are not as nice as the male. Idk. There are bits and pieces missing from the ceiling which raises a concern of safety. If something was to fall on someone’s head, who fault is that! One of the urinals in the mens restroom is right by the sink! Really tho! Fix that asap! The staff do not whip down seats but they sweap and don’t mop? Why? I enjoyed my two movies. It could have been a little bit better. I think this location is way too relaxed when it comes towards health and safety. Covid or other. I will try here again. But it will not be soon. They need to step they game up! It’s AMC so they can do it! I really hope this location pull it together! They deserve more money in the location that they’re at plus the parking. Parking is comfortable, and the seats are very comfy. I watched Elemental, and there were a lot of kids running around and chatting, which I didn't mind; however, the kids’ mom, who was on her chat from start to end, was annoying. Really annoying. I know that nobody could control such a mindless woman, but I hope that she could know what she was doing.
Not a bad theater, not as much as they cost in NY, but what a creepy parking lot across the road! Comfortable seating- I could t believe the quality. They’ll do anything to get people to go to movie theaters, except to stop making terrible Woke movies….
I saw a movie a few days ago and it wasn’t all that bad. Management could def. Do better to make this place a bit better. One of the things I didn’t like was a crew member was exposing his underwear to the guest on the snack area. He gave me my food and then afterwards he used the same hand he just gave me my food to pick up his pants, which didn’t go up at all -.-. I guess it’s a fashion statement but don’t touch your underwear if you’re handling food. Another thing was the seats that I got , the plastic trim piece that’s meant as your cup holder was missing. Then the seats didn’t recline. Maybe it wasn’t their best night and maybe I just happed to have gone on the wrong night but I really hope this isn’t a regular thing.
@AMCTheatres Hey AMC. Today's my Dad's 86th birthday and so I took him to the movies in Ridgefield Park NJ. Well due to COVID, the $50 in gift cards he was gifted by his daughter are no longer valid. #WTH? He couldn't go during the pandemic. Pls FIX THIS! We had to pay cash. The people at the theater won't help us!!!
