We took our kids to see a family movie here in Thanksgiving afternoon. Tickets were discounted since it was before 4pm on a weekday, which was great. The power reclining seats were very comfortable! We bought all 3 kids the kids' concessions packs popcorn, fountain drink and fruit snacks which were reasonably priced as far as movie theater food goes. Only downsides were that only one soda machine was working, so it was a long line for soda. Also, the drinks at the bar were ridiculously overpriced I paid $12 plus tip for a Blue Moon, and they didn't even have orange slices to put in it. Overall, a fun experience and we would go back.
Terrible. We went to Avatar 3D MAX last night. It was dirty every where, We couldn't set anything down when were filling up pops. and then adding butter to popcorn. completely disgusting. Then during the movie the person who delivers the food went to the wrong seat. Very disruptive. Then after the movie went to restroom. There were numerous bathroom stalls with no toilet paper. Not worth the money at this theater. will NOT be going back or recommending
IMAX seats are old and do not recline. The bar was closed because they don’t have the staff for it. We were looking forward to having a drink before the show. They were out of some snacks at the stand. They need to do a better job of telling people to be quiet and silencing phones during the movie. There was a group of people talking loudly during the film along with a text tone from someone else. Your conversation is not that important and other people paid money to enjoy the movie in peace. Have some basic human decency and shut your mouth.
Believe what you are reading with the other negative reviews when we say this theater is disgusting — the theater has absolutely gone downhill. The concessions were so expensive for the quality you receive, the counters were sticky and the pop machines were out of so many options or off. The drink we got was watered down. The movie theater hall is cluttered and gross. The theater itself had trash by the seats and our seat recliners didn’t work. The bathroom smelled strongly like urine, were mostly out of tp, and no soap. After the movie, no staff were to be found and the place looked like it had been left uncleaned for days. I wish I was exaggerating with any of this. The service and appearance of the place could use significant improvement. I honestly wished I had taken photos to show you and AMC management it’s actually this bad. I usually don’t write negative reviews but AMC has to do something about this theater. It’s so sad to see such a great theater in such bad shape, especially for the cost of food and admission. Have yourself a better experience and go to Emagine in Plymouth — friendly staff, clean theaters, great value.
Disgusting movie experience. The Staff was rude and belittling when we had questions. People were disruptive and kept getting up and talking. The reclining seats kept stalling and resetting. I would not recommend this theater and will not be returning. This is one of many AMC eden prairie awful experiences. Not only all of this, but they refused to refund us when we left due to all of the above. I'd say go to ANY other theater over this one. Marcus, B&B, Mann. All superior experiences.
Saw Avatar way of water in Primed 3D, what an absolute treat. Theatre is small so your not packed in. Aisle rows are huge so your not stepping over people if you need to use the restroom or get refills. The seats are amazing. They recline and feel like a warm hug. Arm rests come up too if ya wanna get a little closer to your person or kids the screen was great, picture quality was epic. Concessins are on point with other theatres, get the large drink and popcorn, pays off if you refiill even just once. Highly recommend
Finally went to see a movie 9/2022 in a movie theater for the 1st time since Covid-19 hit. I used to go all the time-there's nothing like the experience of a going to watch a movie at a theater and AMC Eden Prairie Mall did not disappoint! It was great! Tickets were pricey for a matinee at around $12 each, but we were in seats where we felt the rumbles in the movie, very cool! The comfortable recliners were easy to adjust with electric touchpad on armrest and had cup holders. It clean and the temperature in the theater was mostly consistent, altho it did get colder towards the last 1/3 of the movie when I needed to put my sweater on. Sound was clear clear and at times seemed loud, but since the theater only had me and my friend, plus 2 other people in it, it probably seemed louder than usual. Popcorn was fresh and delicious, yet overpriced, as usual at all movie theaters, and I brought in my Caribou coffee beverage without any issues. We had a fun time going to the movies and I'll definitely be back to AMC Eden Prairie Mall!
What a great experience seeing a 3D movie , and at such a classy nice theater tickets were pricier than I'm used to but for the great seats the awesome hot food I mean you can get freaking Pizza there man! It's the nicest theater I've ever been to definitely worth the money!
Half the recliner seats didn't work in the theater the day I was there. Reported the problem to Management and they came in to try and troubleshoot the problem, but that was it. Ended up moving us to another working, but far less desirable set of seats lower in the theater and we basically missed the first 15 minutes of the film in the process. A refund on the tickets or a complimentary concession would have been a nice gesture considering inconvenience.
Place was disgusting pop and popcorn everywhere everything was sticky and covered in grease. Made it to the theater seats were full of pop corn and had rips would have left if the kids weren't exited to see the movie and drove 30 min to get here. Also out of all the sicks in the bathroom zero had soap.
