Amc Theater Puente Hills Mall

It’s been years since I visited the AMC 20 in La Puente, and there were a several upgrades but the experience was not too great. 1. They do not take Apple Pay- only card or cash 2. Bartender was rude and lacked any customer service. They looked miserable and it was probably because of the heat. It seemed like there was no AC inside and if there was-it was very low. 3. The chairs do no recline to a comfortable position. I was part of a group of 8 and 4 of the seats did not work at all.

Clean theaters the staff is nice. Don’t use the app to order food just stand in line. It’s never super crowded and the bathrooms and theaters are always clean. They have security for late night movies. The popcorn is delicious but the pretzels are hard. Great place to enjoy a relaxing evening.

Very clean and spacious. Not crowded. Very friendly staff and great service. We had such a wonderful time here. This will definitely be our place for movie nights.

The movie "Changchun" or "Eternal Spring is very touching as the scenes always come back to mind. I could not believe that In terror shrouded China there are such a group of true warriors who have made unimaginable feats of daring to speak out for the truth. And it is a real story happened! I really enjoyed the combination of real characters and animation showing the scene at that time. It is great.

My first time here since covid started and I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the place is and how they still provide sanitized wipes to clean ur seats . We had recliners so that was nice and very affordable price tickets . The only thing that I was a disappointed with was that we ordered some pretzel bites and some of them were extremely hard had to throw those away .....

The theaters are nice. Love the recliner seats! But the service at the snack bar is really bad. Maybe it was my fault for ordering coffee at a movie theater, but it was on the menu and I needed some! The counter person said, "I have to get the manager to bring the coffee key. It will be 3 minutes." So we waited, and watched the employees as they took orders and every single transaction was a problem. It seemed like they didn't know what they were doing and the customers all seemed frustrated. After waiting about 10 mins we got the guy's attention and he said they are still waiting for the key. Why do they need to lock up the coffee? So bizarre... It was getting close to our movie time so I asked for a bottle of water instead of their weird locked up coffee! We are still puzzled by the strange behavior of the employees that were working in the snack bar. They were so disorganized and it took 5 people to help one customer. We will return to this AMC, but I'll go drink a coffee at Starbucks first!

Nice staff. Big open lobby. You must go through the mall to get to the AMC, and go down the escalators and the movie theater entrance is right there. Even if the mall is not open the AMC still it's.

This is a great place to see a movie. Decor feels like those art deco style theaters from years gone by. Tickets are bought either online and picked up by automatic dispensers with touch screens at the counter or from a human attendant. It seems less and less people will be used to sell tickets in the future. This location is good since there is enough parking at the mall. An employee came up to me and asked why I was taking some exterior photos. I guess we cannot be too relaxed about security when there are so much gun violence in movies and in real life.

Finally watched AVENGERS infinity war in IMAX/3D premium reclined seats and damn was cool and awesome! I like it!! really awesome movie! Just hated the ending overall the cinema was clean, recliner was clean, can't complaint thanks much!

Comfortable reclining seats that have more adjustable options. Each row considerably higher than the one in front so you do not see the rows in front of you. The lobby is very large and there are lots of bathrooms throughout the building. The entrance is inside the mall.
