Their idea of a ticket booth is walking into the theater and heading to the concession stand and talking to an employee behind a cash register. It actually kind of loses the excitement of the old ticket booth. The theater was very nice. The recliners are nice. But the one I had must have been older. It felt somewhat lumpy. The screen and picture quality was very good. And so was the sound. So all and all it was a very pleasant experience. I will be back.
This is one of my favorite movie theaters to go to. It is well worth the 45-minute drive to go there. I've always received great service. I love being able to pick where I want to sit. The seats in this theater are the best! I love the recliners. The prices are reasonable for concessions and tickets.
Fairly typical AMC, as we go about weekly… we got food and they made sure it was cooked well. It was my first time getting the cheese sticks and they were great. Theater was clean and sound was good. Overall a great experience. We spilled our drink and the attendant was pretty upset, but I kind of get it…
I bought me ticket on Fandango. When I got there I found out you check in at the front window, and give them your confirmation number. Then they give you the ticket for your seat. The theater was clean and the seats comfortable. The sound was good and the screen bright.
This theater scares me, I can't lie, much of Asheville scares me lol and this theater fits the scene. The employees were very nice and that helps the rating! The bathroom was not clean and the recliners were very worn and dirty. I was afraid of getting lice or something from the torn, damaged headrest and it was catching my hair. Also my son sat in the seat with me for part of the movie so we were 'squooshed' in ; and when we got up we both had sticky weird gunk with hair and candy, etc stuck to it on our sides that had been squished in the cracks on the seat. Who knows what else is down in there eek the movie was great though!!
I will not be attending this theater again. We went to multiple movies this week and both had similar experiences. First film had a broken chair. Luckily we were able to swap to another seat because it was not opening weekend for the film. This theater had bugs flying all around distracting you from the movie. We thought it was a single occurrence until we went back for another film and there were more bugs in the second theater. It was incredibly distracting and annoying, would not recommend.
The actual theater is fine but be aware that even if you buy tickets online you still must wait in a line for no reason to get your ticket printed by an employee, and usually only one person is working that line. You cannot scan a ticket on your phone or print it at a machine, so add an extra 10 minutes of waiting on top of the food line.
Really comfortable experience! Wide isles, recliner seats with seat warmers, good quality picture and sound. Very enjoyable time at the movies! Will definitely be going again.
Went to see voyage of the demeter and their lights wouldn't dim for the movie. Went out to talk to a employee and they said it was already as dim as they get. I peeked inside the other auditoriums and sure enough. The lights were dimmed just fine in the other rooms, just not ours. So the whole time we watched a movie mostly filmed at night. With lights on.
Amazing theater! I always go to this one because first, great service, seat heaters, and great food. It's the best one in my opinion :
