Amelia Gentle Dentistry was started over 25 years ago By Dr. Mark Olbina, DDS. Dr. Olbina and his wife, Karen, moved to Fernandina beach in 1984 after graduation from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Olbina signed up to serve in the United States Navy and was fortunate to be assigned to the Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay. Dr. Olbina and his wife fell in love with Fernandina, and upon leaving the navy, they decided to make Fernandina their home. The office started small, but expanded rapidly over the first ten years, adding treatment rooms, personnel and patients. In 2006, Amelia Gentle Dentistry moved to its current location. The goal at their new location was to provide cutting edge care in a beautiful, comfortable setting. Patients still often comment that it is the most beautiful dental office they've ever visited. Dr. Olbina is constantly training to deliver the most up to date technology and services to his patients and will continue to do so over the course of his entire career.
Amelia Gentle Dentistry is proud to announce the recent addition of Dr. Olbina's daughter as a dentist at the practice. Dr. Jackie Olbina Miller DMD is a Fernandina Beach High School, University of Florida (undergraduate), and Nova Southeastern School of Dentistry graduate. Since joining the practice, Dr. Miller has brought energy, up-to-date-training, and a friendly, gentle attitude to her work. The staff and patients love her..........and her Dad couldn't be any prouder.
