When we checked in, we were surprised that we had to make a CASH deposit of $100 and luckily we had cash on us. We did not feel safe or comfortable. There was people walking around outside our room and super loud and police called on. We felt the beds were not clean or comfortable, also roaches everywhere. Did not bother getting inside the sheets. In our restroom, the toilet paper was DIRTY! We didn’t bother complaining because we had to leave early and it was late. Does not stop there. When checking out, the front desk said we were good to go. But then acted as if she “forgot” their policy on refunding our cash deposit. She did the same thing to another guest that they are good to go right in front of us and it seems like the guest had forgot to get his deposit back and they did not bother saying “wait your deposit!”. NOT GOOD! Never coming back
Do not stay here. When we first arrived staff was very friendly. Thought we found a great hotel. When we were going to our room the smell of marijuana was super strong. We had a long day and just wanted to relax. The bed felt like you were sleeping on springs. Got up at 4am to use the restroom and roaches was on everything. We immediately packed up and checked out.we still had another night to stay but there was no way you could stay in the discuss. We told the front desk what was happening and even sent management pictures of the roaches. All they gave us was a 20% discount. Will never stay here again and most likely never in another American best.
If I could take away stars I would. This place could be a very nice fun hotel. The pool was green, and not like one day green, like getting a fishing pole green. Breakfast, omg it was too funny. Really black coffee, one kind of old cereal and milk setting out. The rooms are nasty. It was so nasty and smoked out. We paid for two rooms with two beds in each room. Due to how late and dirty one room was we only used one room. Got up early and checked out at 9:30 all outside trash was so full, bags and more bags of trash were on the ground. I wanted to call corporate, but why waste my time.
It's was nice here very pleasant. Yes there is smoke smell across the hallways but inside the non smoking room you can't smell anything. Our rooms were clean, beds very cozy. My toddler loved the pool. Our door card wasn't working and they helped us out and were nice. I hate how disgusting this place was. Rooms smell of mold and dirty mop water. Found a huge roach by the air conditioner then one outside of the room. For breakfast coffee and a box of 4 muffins in them store bought. Bed spread and sheets had cigarette burns on them. Being it’s memorial weekend we were desperate and paid $107. Even if I took a shower I’d still feel nasty here this is sad. If you have kids PLEASE DONT BEING THEM IN HERE.
Probably one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Awful smoke and weed smell throughout the hallways, free “breakfast” was literally bread and a stick of butter, AC unit made awful squeaky sound, the pool was gross with no hot tub, the towels are very small and thin, pillows were so thin and little you had to triple up for any comfort, coffee machine in the room was disgusting, shower head was rusty and took AGES for hot water to come, paper signs taped up EVERYWHERE, and no security on side doors they were taped open and broken. This hotel’s only saving grace is its microwave and fridge in every room. $200 for 2 nights and I wish I would’ve splurged to stay literally anywhere else.
