They period there were really nice but when I asked for my hair to be bleached and dyed the color I wanted was purple, I ended up walking out with very damaged bleach hair and my hair was somehow red, hated my hair it look horrible and tried to hide in for as long as I could, surprised my hair didn’t fall out cause they left the bleach in for an hour and only left they dye in for 30 minutes. Please get your time right so you don’t completely ruin people’s hair, had to chop it all off cause of how dead my hair was and sense I wanted to use box dye from now on after this experience, really enjoyed the people, didn’t enjoy the treatment of my hair
The girl, who did my nails was super sweet! Unfortunately, before the end of the night, my thumb had the polish chipped off, and before the end of the next day, two of the acrylic nails had come off completely. They weren’t even on two full days! When I called to see if I could get my nails redone, or get a refund, the school explained that it was done by a student, and therefore I had no guarantee that they would be good… I knew that was something I should expect going in, but I didn’t think they would come off SO quickly. I was definitely bummed
I got a pedicure. I booked online, I picked a student and the time, but when I got there they gave me a different student. The pedicure took almost 2 hours long and the polish work is not good at all… The student I had was very kind and nice to chat with, she is graduating in July so I thought great I had an experienced tech. I was looking forward to having my nails painted for my trip to Hawaii this week but will be getting my polish redone ASAP. I know it’s a school, I was a cosmetology student myself. I just think these schools need to teach their students how to do all of their services well… I was a bit disappointed but I guess what can I expect? It’s a school where everyone is learning.
Kylie Wignall did a great job! She was very friendly and professional. When I wasn’t sure if I wanted a warmer or cooler tone, she chose the perfect one.
I was in need of a haircut- that was long overdo! My hair had dry split ends and my bangs were a mess. The staff listened to me and took time to make sure everything looked perfect. The result was a great haircut, ready for spring! I’m satisfied and will go again!
I loved the students that worked on me but the instructors gave me anxiety... I'm so baby smooth! I love Nicole and Angela! Made me feel super comfortable even with my severe low self esteem, they also didn't appear impatient though I'm sure they had to be...
They gave my daughter's some great haircuts. It has been a while since I have been there.
Absolutely loved the experience I had. Janae did the best job and I walked out with the best hair cut I have ever had. Fun environment. Loved the girls and everyone!!!
Went to get a cut and color and could not have had a better experience! Angela was thorough and patient with me and my questions. We went from dark brown to light ash blonde and she never got discouraged! Would definitely come back!
The students here are really well trained! I have always gotten wonderful service every time I have my hair done here! Students are confident and component. I highly recommend American Beauty Academy.
