The BEST shop w/ THE BEST Deli Fixings, I Die for their SHARP PROVOLONE, they make my favorite Italian hoagie sometimes I get the seeded roll EVERYTHING is cut Fresh!! I also LOVE their walnut cranberry chicken salad & broccoli pie ..their rates are Reasonable given the area, the staff is friendly & always greet with a warm smile they sell Crab cakes too...Go Check the ladies out..... I've gotta get a hoagie tray & a jar of Honey .

I came in for a ham and turkey with provolone and boy did Joe deliver! Best hoagie I’ve had in philly and they even gave me a nice apple to go with my lunch!

Hello Philly praying everyone is well and safe. Had to give American Joes a great review on how great the sandwiches and service is. I think these are some of best sandwiches in the city. Quietly one of the better Italian hoagies I've had in the city, and definitely the best in the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and they'll make your sandwich quickly.
We ordered crab cakes for take out and were told to come for our order in 15 minutes. When we arrived at that time it took an additional 20 minutes until our order was ready. While we were waiting in front of the glass refrigerator case I noticed all the vegetables that were in plain view. There was a tray of limp celery shriveled up green peppers, one of which was moldy! Thankfully, our order didn't contain any of these ingredients. The food was bland and uneventful. The best part was the aioli, which was premade and bought elsewhere as clearly shown in the refrigerated case.
